If people are breaking the rules time after time, its OK to ban, but he was not breaking any rules at all after his first post.
He was banned for 48 hours for his first post, maybe he will come back without the attitude. Not that it really has anything to do with you. Makes no difference if someone breaks the rules after 1 post or 2000 posts does it? So you would be happy to let this forum be trolled and ruined as long as they do it in the 1st post?

I don't know if this was posted already, I'm at work and I can't check the last pages.

He criticized Alonso in public and after that he is on his knees for Kimi. Pathetic in my opinion. The team is always bigger than the driver, in this case, Kimi is bigger than Ferrari, he made the chairman to apologize.

No. I said his first post was the only one maybe meriting a suspension. So we agree in this case. I was wrong, he was banned correctly. Since he stayed to post more I thought he was banned for a later post, which caused me to wrongfully believe the ban was not merited. Thanks for the clarification!

Maybe Montezemelo fealt guilty for some things before sacking Kimi in 2009,so he apologised,i dont see anything pathetic here.

do you know for sure that those information are correct?
i've seen lots of articles where those people who write them have some secret informer inside maranello. it seems to me that whole Ferrari staff gives information to journalists. every each of them has his own.

See my post again - especially the LAST sentence:

Some claims about the Kimi signing from my Maranello source that provides me with Ferrari team clothing:

Ironicly Alonso himself was one of the reasons Ferrari signed Raikkonen. Ferrari had long been negotiating with Hulkenbergs agent, but when Kimis talks with Red Bull broke down, Kimis camp contacted Ferrari.

Di Montezemolo is said to be fed up with Alonsos attitude towards the team lately and by signing Kimi he "put Alonso in his place" and showed who is really in charge of Ferrari. As we all know Luca publicy rebuked Fernando some weeks ago.

Alonsos manager is said to have been contact about a Red Bull deal, but that did not plan out. Alonso is said to have been initially furious with Kimis arrival, he much wanted Massa to stay. But has since calmed down and decided to play it cool towards the media and not show his true feelings publicly.

    About Raikkonens return:

Raikkonen demanded that Di Montezemolo should apologize to him for his harsh words when Kimi was "bought out" and also admit Ferrari took the wrong decision to get rid of Kimi that time. Montezemolo has done that and further more acknowledged that Ferrari has absolutely no problems whatsoever working with Kimi during his last stay at the Scuderia. Luca claims the media made up false rumours about Kimi not working well within the team.

Please note I have no idea if this is actually true, just passing on the information I have received.

And yet we have wasted bandwidth having to explain it.

according to Raikkonen, rumours of a rift with the marque's excitable President Luca di Montezemolo stretching back to 2009 are wide of the mark. "I've never had a problem with him. For sure I've had arguments with many people and not just with him but with some other team bosses also. There's always a lot of rumours about different things I've done. But people write and they have no idea what's going on inside the team."

Arcana? No ways. I vote for the guy who lasted only a few hours. Over a month ago, I think. I forgot his name, but I found him quite amusing :).

Kimi is not stupid. He wasn't going to burn any bridges. He's also non-confrontational. All that will serve him well the next couple of seasons.

Yep, that much is true about Kimi, so irrespective of whether he meant it, we can safely say that there's no way he went to Luca and demanded an apology. Hopefully now we can all agree that the apology thing is just another fabricated rumor.

This is pretty much why Kimi is so widely popular...he doesn't speak in sound bites approved by the public relations department, designed to flatter the journo who asked the question.

Verry similar to some interviews of Fernando, who said basically the same things here and there. For some reason he gets bashed a lot for saying similar things. Maybe because the press is always busy painting his words in a bad light.

Just saying that here in this forum there is no popularity contest when it comes to our drivers, no matter who it is.

Nice to see that the man seems to have a good head on his shoulders and the relationship with LdM intact. They may actually make a good team with Fernando, pushing each other to new heights.

This could be good for Alonso and Kimi both. They could accomplish something no other two drivers or team has ever done. I'm not sure what that would be, but we'll think of something.
