If FA leaves Ferrari that will be such a BIG mistake from Maranello based team, indescribable one for sure!

Alonso's helmet for Indian GP
Nice helmet for Alonso, but this points thing is surely not that important considering the numerous changes to the points system?
Forza Ferrari
If the point system was still 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, how many points would he have? This is soft ** that has no purpose other than to make a story.
Frankly, I'd be embarrassed to wear that helmet.

Not really, this pointing system is the one in use, and the other one is ancient history.
Probably Somebody will pass Alonso, and they will still be in this system.
Really nice helmet.
Go Ferrari, beat them all!
This won't answer your question, however here is how it would look like if points were normalized to the current points system:
Schumacher 3,890
Prost 2,483
Alonso 2,414
Barrichello 1,897
Raikkonen 1,882
Senna 1,881
That 1571 number is as arbitrary as drinking coffee....

What If that helmet brings him bad luck? And after the Indian GP, he's still on those points?!? Because he was showing it off haha!
Personally I dont care at all if Alonso leaves, but next year he just MUST drive Ferrari. After that, Hulkenberg welcome..
Alonso and Hulk sounds good I guess
Forza Ferrari
Ouch.
Anyway, as far as eras and dominating goes it is my humble prediction that the season 2014 will be dominated by the team who has best combination of driver, chassis, aero and power unit. IMHO it will be the combination of all those things and not just a single factor of those.
I hope that the dominating car will be red in colour but we'll see eventually.
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
Careers compared.
Alonso 12 years and Schumacher 18 years
Old points
Alonso 8 years and Schumacher 15 years
New points system
Alonso 3 years (4 races to go for 4th) and Schumacher 3 years.
Not Bad by Fernando.
4 down, 3 to go! Forza Sebastian!
Not bad from Alonso considering all the stats. Actually quite awesome.
The only embarrassing thing is the low life's that now try and belittle his achievement. Considering how little time he has spend in a real title contending race car in his career and still manage to achieve this, puts his class and determination and motivation as unequaled judged by the majority of today's talent in F1 and also puts him as one of the greats driving for Scuderia Ferrari too.
.
Alonso talking about our lack of development and our actual incompetence to deliver steady progress (or even deliver progress) = BAD
Alonso celebrating the less highlights this second half has due to car performance = BAD
Someone told me: when you have a bad phase hang on every little success you have to build you up again ...
If we would have delivered a car which was close to what he is able to deliver together with his pit crew this record might be a side note ... but so ...
But we as Ferrari Fans can be proud of once again of season of missed opportunity by mystery wind tunnel experience ... maybe celebrating this
or leaving Felipe? Maybe celebrating this
we have such great moments we can be proud of and celebrate in the near past ...
or just doing as it would be 2004 ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.
I found every little celebration done by Lewis Hamilton a bit cringy.
Nowadays Same with Redbull or Sebastian.
Its human nature.
4 down, 3 to go! Forza Sebastian!
