Don't be to cruel with Fernando, he have had a lot of problems lately. After all, he is second best.

Who Ferrari signes is not in my hands, that is up to much more wiser persons in the organization. I think they take all possible variables in consideration. Now they want Ferrari to get back on winning track. Thats why Kimi returns.

According to Ferrari herself Kimi returns because they think he will be more consistent than Massa in bringing points for the WCC. That is the single reason, the WCC.
Ferrari has been very open about that.

Like a lot of Kimifans, you keep referring to the the lucky championship of 7 years ago. That was then. In 2008 Felipe showed a lot more although he lost the title only seconds after winning it.
We Ferrarifans all hope Kimi will do well, some of us are a little afraid of his motivationproblems that seem to occur every now and then, but we really are not against him.
Objectively seen though, we all know that although Kimi is a great driver at given times , he is no Fernando Alonso.

Cruel with Fernando? Why? at least no body is telling him to "Get out of the way"

I think so too. He doesn't seem to have a problem with that either, some years ago he was a perfect nr 2 to Felipe already.

Don't waste your time with them bro. You already know what will happen the next years don't you?

Some lonely voice stating "he was never the same after his back injury" one way or another. Again.

Oops...that's not what we need....but I was already thinking, as Kimi was nr2 to Felipe and Felipe was nr2 to Fernando.....then Kimi can never be nr2 next year .....only nr3...?
But, if Fernando is first driver and Kimi third....what will happen then in 2015 if Fernando wins the championship in 2014?

Will Ferrari then in 2015 start with carnumbers 1 and 3 ?

That would be a rather unique situation.....and who will get the nr2 car then?

    Questions, questions.....my poor head...

Not sure why this thread has turned into a Alonso v Kimi one, but it would be nice if it did not continue.

I wasn't sure too, and as it's rather unnecessary I started to joke about it....you did'nt think I was serious in my last post I hope...

We Ferrarifans do hope Alonso do well, some of us are afraid of his motivationproblems that seem to occur now and then, especially lately, but we are not against him. Objecitively seen though, we all know that allthough Alonso is not a Ferrari wdc he is good at given times, but he is not Kimi Raikkonen. Happy?

Perhaps everyone could just drop the Kimi/Fernando debate. Yes? Good.

Kimi has in 2007 a supercar. Alonso have not. Alonso is a warrior in any condition. Kimi is not. Ontopic, Fernando reply to Luca...yes, he did 8 in rating but in the not 2 best car he finish in P2. Where is Raikkonen? In a Lotus car?

I believe Hulk is now better than Raikonen, the finn move is not the best choice for the Scuderia.

There probably need to be a change in the team philosophy before we invest in drivers like Hulkenberg or Perez. I think we're one of the very few team left who refuse to invest in upcoming young drivers. Our competitors like McLaren and Red Bull have adopted this approach.

Personally I would love to see a change in the future where Ferrari start investing in young drivers. It can be rewarding if we pick the right talent, the way Benetton did with Schumi, or Red Bull did with Vettel.

I am a suporter of Fernando but I will be also e big fan of Nico Hulkenberg if he become a ferrari driver. Yes, Ferrari want WDD in 2014, probably they change present driver line with Vettel and Nico in 2016. Rumours says that Nico sign a precontract with Ferrari for 2015.

diesel08, about that rumour of Nico. Who is Nico going to replace in 2015 at Ferrari? Both Fernando and Kimi have a contract for 2015, so who do you think he will replace?

Alonso, if he move to Mclaren in 2015.

every day I light on 2 candles for praying: one not coming and the other welcome ....

dear almighty, don't proof my love to Ferrari once again ... 4 RB dominated years was already enough ... and therefore I would also cancel my wish for the Lego Knights Castle this christmas too if you want me to bring you a gift ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

The thought of an all-German driver line-up for Ferrari is not what I would want to see, however good they may be. Please let's concentrate on what we've now got in a positive way and I agree that Ferrari must start to bring in younger promising talent from the Driver Academy and get them up to speed before Fernando and Kimi hang up their Ferrari helmets. Then we might get a promising Latin in the red cars.

Honestly, I think we might see Vettel-Bianchi pairing for 2017. All german lineup, not very likely but never say never.

Come on folks. Ferrari has an intriquing and also a very formidable team next year with Fernando and Kimi. It's only the fans here that are creating the friction between them. And I think I know the reason for it.. It will be nip & tuck between them next year and the driver fans are already biting their fingernails

And that should not be allowed here, go to autosport to talk , that place is also a land of freedom to bash Alonso, and that's a plus for some people. Not directed to you Pekka, just a general comment.

Myself Id hate to see Nando leave..I mean, do you want to fight against this guy?
No way. It stinks that there are rumors like this, but as the journo's get more ridiculous,
it still spreads/spins any story. And after the final race, they wont have anything to do.
They should all go back to Hollywood. Cept for the really good ones.

Interesting self definition, somehow I am not sure it is accurate, though.

Is Bianchi planning a nationality transplant?

    Haha. No.

I was commenting on a more possible pairing and commenting about the possibility of Vettel-Hulk pairing and why it is very unlikely. Nice way to take things out of context.

As usual, press took the context and reworded it to make it seem like Alonso is giving himself much more praise. It always sells more when they write about Ferrari. Who cares what goes in Caterham...
