I guess every time Alonso said on twitter and Ferrari in their website that Alonso was in the simulator or working on the development of the car, it was a lie.

Here's a video of the simulator he has at home and that he trains with:

And just to make clear that Massa is saying the truth:

I don't see anywhere in Alonso's tweet that he was referring to that. And it's normal for the driver to learn 2014 only after 2013. Prior to the end of 2013, their simulator work are about learning for the next track, and of course any development for 2013.
Massa was talking about 2013 development. Nothing to do with 2014, so I don't see how one have anything to do with the other. Nothing strange about Alonso trying the 2014 car after the season ends.
And still I wonder for what purpose we have DelaRosa then ... ?
I thought it is mainly his work to be in the "big" simulator ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Thats the one he uses, at home. Here is a nice video of Ferraris simulator for development, the one Massa refers to:@alo_oficial said:
Done for today. 4;30h in the simulator, 96 laps at Spa. Some interesting things. Tomorrow more! Keep pushing

Module all your links are fine but I don't know what do you want to prove, the fact is that Alonso do his training in the simulator and work in the car development like Massa does, Massa said it in a way that it sounds like Alonso doesn't work. If Alonso works from home, is because is accepted by the team, so Massa rambling is out of place.

in this case, i still wonder how Fernando managed to get more out of car than Felipe did...
not gonna change my profile picture
He could have said that while he does all his job in Maranello, Alonso does it in his house because he has a simulator there, instead, he said it in a way that is sounds like Alonso does not work and he is the one doing all the work. If you check all the news from Ferrari.com you wll find that Alonso also goes to Maranello when the team ask him.
This is not a matter of where or when, is a matter of wording, and Massa did it in away that portraits him as the hard worker and Alonso as the lazy with half truths. The funny thing is that Alonso still beat him, no matter if he work in the simulator or not, so at the end of the day, the shoot backfired.
Your post doesn't really prove anything. Massa was talking about last year, and Alonso certainly doesn't tweet everything he does at the factory, so trying to prove that one of Alonso's tweet was about what he do at home has got nothing to do with the topic in hand.
We are not working in Ferrari so none of us will know what goes on or if it's true, but it doesn't really matter. Both Alonso and Massa are always prepared to contribute whatever they can to make sure Ferrari wins, this is something you cannot deny. If Ferrari wants Alonso in the simulator, he will be there. If Ferrari puts Massa in the sim for development, they have their reason.
Massa isn't trying to imply Alonso cannot work in the sim or doesn't want to anyway.
I'm afraid this is just the beginning... so when's the 1000 page book of "grievances" coming Felipe?

You are all reading way too much into one comment.
all that work he put in and he still sucked on the track.. Just go away gracefully and stop talking about a driver that beat the crap out of you.
Ferrari gave you plenty of opportunities just be grateful.

I understand drivers prepare for races via Simulator. Alonso does that in Maranello or at his home & Massa also did that at the factory. But what I don't understand is where we use Pedro when it comes to using Simulator for car development? Because obviously Massa is talking about car development & not race preparations
I'm just guessing here, but I think with no in season testing now, only the drivers can give accurate feedback since they are the only who have the chance to drive the car.
Maybe our reserve driver could play a role for testing the 2014 car during 2013 since the active drivers are still tuned to the 2013 car style. But once the season starts, the active drivers will be the one who knows the car best and can give feedback on any changes.
Oh Felipe... don't do that. Just don't.![]()

"Alonso wasn't there"
Can't believe that a line like this could create this kind of fuss. Jeez people,![]()
Anybody who starts throwing mud after leaving the team (any team) is just a sad bitter backstabber. There's a saying that "What happens on the battlefield, stays on the battlefield".
And oh yea, poor Barrichello had a really tough time driving the best cars in F1 in the most legendary team, winning races and earning millions of dollars every year lol. If that's "tough time" then sign me up for that anyday, please.![]()
