"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.
Alonso back out now
I Will End My Career At Ferrari...
I believe it is more important at the moment to check all the systems(from wind tunnel data,to engine temps,to electronic systems) to know that all systems at home are now working fine, this is very important for further development,as for the rest just keep the faith.......
"Sebastian,Daniel is Faster Than you"
"Tough Luck!"

11:47 GLENN FREEMAN reports that Alonso has gone off at the end of the back straight:
"Just went in too deep and ran wide; tried to hold it but the car wobbled on him."

11:53 Hulk backs off for a lap then goes again. He's quickest of all in the first sector and does a personal best in the final part of the lap to shave another four thousandths of a second from the benchmark time.

I think teams are starting to test thir performance...
Rosberg did his fastest lap on medium tyres.
Rosberg did his fastest time on a 12-laps run while Fernando did his on a 8-laps run but much earlier and the track is improving.
And Fernando was on a faster lap through the first and second sector but he didn't complete the lap and pitted.

The most impressive laptime done so far is for me Hamiltons 1.37.9 yesterday on hards at the start of an 18-laps run.
Most of the work centered on checking the car’s systems, as well as focusing on the engine, car balance and brakes. There have been three red flag interruptions so far, which slowed down the work rate, but did not have any great effect on the team’s schedule.
This afternoon work continues on system checks, with further set-up testing and the usual tyre evaluation.

Our topspeed is not bad too, Fernando reached 291.1 km/h this morning only 2.3 km/h slower than the fastest car which was the Williams.
Saw this on Autosport
Just goes to show how hard the teams are competing.Glenn Freeman spotted somebody from Mercedes stationed towards the end of the back straight recording various cars as they pass by on full throttle.
GARY ANDERSON: "It's likely he will be recording the engine sound. From that, you can work out the engine RPM and gear ratio. And from that, probably the engine torque and the electrical torque that a given car is using to reach its top speed."
It seems we aren't on top of our break by wire system.. locking up here and there
Sorry if i sound too pessimistic... blame my bloody exams for that![]()
F1 show biz 2016 :
Toto - "Ferrari are a real threat" .... Nico - "Awesome, everything is just awesome" .....Lulu - "Mental strength man, lifestyle man, I'll drive at 400% as ever man".... and then suddenly a wild Bull out of nowhere slams into a Ferrari.
From this topspeed numbers we can read out that no team is really pushing the engine to the limit.
Last year on this track the highest topspeed was 314.2 km/h done by a Force India, and this years cars are expected to be round 15 km/h faster.
Rosberg into the 1.36 with 1.36.965.
Mercedes once again looking very strong, Resbergs lap was done on mediums.
No, not at all they should be even faster on the straights with less drag due the loss of the beam wing, a smaller rear wing and a better DRS.
As from the engine side the new power units should deliver rround 860 hp (700 from the combustion engine and 160 from ERS) which is more than 100 hp than the V8s.

Acting team boss Gerard Lopez expects Lotus to be fully competitive in 2014.
Amid rumours of financial strife, the Enstone team sat out the opening Jerez test, and when the E22 finally made its public debut in Bahrain on Wednesday, it clocked the slowest time and a mere 8 laps.
Team owner Lopez, however - acting as team boss while the McLaren-departed Eric Boullier's successor is found - said Lotus was right to have voluntarily skipped Jerez.
"I predicted there would not be much to learn because of (technical) problems, so we saved a lot of money by staying home," he told Germany's Auto Motor und Sport.
The E22 then seemed to have a promising rollout at Jerez in the week after the official test, but in Bahrain on Wednesday Lotus struck Renault-powered trouble.
Nonetheless, Lopez is confident, dishing out high praise for the E22's designers, who have penned a car not only with a two-pronged nose, but an unusual asymmetrical solution for the exhaust and rear wing support.
"We have a super car," he said.
"The boys cannot believe the wind tunnel numbers. If we get those numbers on the track as well, the thing will go like hell.
"I can only hope we don't end up with three championships based on (engine suppliers) Mercedes and Ferrari and Renault," said Lopez.
