Raikkonen stopped. I guess it's a fuel test.

9 days of testing without race sim or quali sim...
Just 3days left. It is somewhat worrisome and one starts questioning WHY

Yea, must be some deliberate stop-test. Fuel usage or something, as mentioned by OSS EL BOSS.

Maybe we did it to annoy RBR who went out 1 minute before :D

there where rumours about it but nothing official from Ferrari itself .. until Australia ...
I couldn't remember a single official note by Ferrari before Australia that we have a donkey ... and also couldn't find right now ... but maybe you will find one ... help appreciated ..

Well, at least we got some running today, it wasn't a race sim, but I hope we'll get to those in the next three days.

Tyre spitters , not of much significance though. Is it a lump or a weird light angle ? Can't be sure.

So we still haven't done a race simulation yet. We're running out of time. We're behind schedule. We're definitely under some pressure now. We cannot afford to lose more time. Not ideal.

Kimi is 3rd on the timesheet but before we started testing today we were behind schedule and now we're even further behind schedule. If we have more setbacks over the coming days we're in real trouble!

Hopefully, we'll recover the time that we lost over the coming days but it must be getting rather uncomfortable for the team at the moment. Pressure is preferably not needed at this stage.

Loosing time during testing is never good, but much better to discover and fix issues now, than during the race weekend.

    Kimi not wearing Nomex/socks?

And, the two mechanics at the back of the car are laughing - can't be bad!

Not sure about the nose, different angle in degrees compared to the " old " nose?

but I would bet there must be a FIA regulation what a driver has to wear at minimum ...

I noticed it but thot thats to do with the angle we are viewing from, now i see the other plate its clear though . Thnx
Wonder why it as there so, i mean its probably beneficial to have that extra strake at the back of the endplate, as it allows more volume for the exhaust to expand
I think they saw in the new wind tunnel the same Separation you can see on the track from last week but was not registered by either the old maranello wind tunnel or the Toyota one(were the Basic package was developed),here the Photo:

Actually we can say that even if parts of the new front wing are a development of the 2013 brazilian GP front wing, other parts are completely newland for Ferrari, and you can see a clear Lotus school in the rear wing endplates and the diffuser for example(wich resembles parts of the one already tried last year at the Hungarian GP).A couple of thoughts about the part of the main plan connetted with the endplates, where Ferrari in the last two years brought development in a completely opposite direction from Red Bull, trying to bring the main plain as low as possible creating a seemless line with the endplates. Now they are developing curls like Red Bull or Williams.I dont know if the wind tunnel is giving them much more accurate data enabling them to develope such a design without stalling the wing,or the new ideas from the aerodynamics group are coming out slowly, one thing is sure we never had such complexe wings for the start of the season.Just hope this means something

They're temperature sensors. We're running them all over the rear end because we've changed the shape of the rear packaging around the exhaust. See one above the rear wheel along the white line, too?

Another shot of the "cannon" engine cover. Read that this solution is more likely to be used at races where the temperature is critical because of the drag penalty.
