PS: The team went back to testing the old rear wing again, this isn't a positive sign as they can't blame the wind-tunnel anymore.

It's pretty evident that the car has not lived up to expectations, there is nothing positive coming out of the team and that can only mean one thing. Come Australia there will be a massive storm, you heard it here first.

This is what happens when you leave things late - you end up discovering things late. Hopefully, it is easy to resolve. We should have started doing race Sims in the previous test.

Does anyone know when the leakage occurred? Must have towards the end of his last stint?

Given that he was back on track in a few minutes it was likely a loose connection. Anything major would have taken much longer to fix.

Not sure about when it occurred but certainly affected Kimi's run

    Final rehearsal for Kimi

Circuit: Sakhir circuit – 5.412 km
    Driver: Kimi Raikkonen
    Car: Ferrari F14 T
Weather: air temperature 24/29°C, track temperature 27/37 °C. Sunny.
    Laps/Kms completed: 87/470
    Best time: 1:35.426

The sun was still shining on Scuderia Ferrari as it tackled the penultimate day of testing at the Sakhir Circuit. It marked Kimi Raikkonen’s final test appearance prior to the Finn getting back behind the wheel of the F14 T at the Australian GP in twelve days’ time.

In the morning, after a series of laps, the team had to deal with a problem relating to a connector, which meant the mechanics had to partially dismantle the car to get it fully sorted out.

In the afternoon, Kimi did some short runs as well as a race simulation, including some live practice pit stops.

“I’d hoped to do more laps, but this wasn’t an easy day,” said Kimi to www.ferrari.com. “We lost some time this morning when we had to fix something on the car, but then we managed to make up for some of it in the afternoon. Running a race distance, we continued to get more data relating to fuel consumption strategies and tyre degradation, even though the strong wind upset the driving a lot. I’d like to be able to say we did better, but there’s still one more day with Fernando to continue our preparation for Melbourne.”

Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow, when Fernando Alonso will be on track for the final day of the test.

Good thing we still have the monkey seat this year, or those exhaust gas would be blowing into the driver's face right behind another car during racing.

The alarm bells are ringing at Ferrari

Kimi Raikkonen left Ferrari tests his last winter with fast speed by as much as 2.168 seconds and 1.942 seconds, the tip of the right instead .

F1 tests highlight the need for that comparisons of different cars lap times between the point in doing . On Saturday, in the evening for those in Bahrain , but he could not escape .

Raikkonen , Felipe Massa and Williams' Nico Rosberg, Mercedes made the time ajovetonsa at the same time super-soft tires. Severe wind conditions and track temperatures were falling all the same.

Therefore, the two-second loss of the Mercedes motor cars poked the tip of the camp really set alarm bells ringing in Maranello .

Raikkonen did not round your vedollaan errors , so the difference really is, what it is.

Williams raised a few at the same time in Bahrain two-week test period, the top time. He had been the fastest in Jerez today's decision.

Italian La Gazzetta dello Sport magazine asked , what is the perception of Rosberg, Ferrari's pace , when he was driving at the same time Räikkönen's race simulation with their long stroke.

    - I do not have any reason to any of the view , after all, so much depends on the amounts of fuel , and more. That's why I do not want to make comparisons . At that moment, I was much faster, but I do not know what they were going, Rosberg acknowledged.

i dont think so,even without monkey seat the flow would follow partially the rear wing,so no danger

fernando also set a 1'35" yesterday on a soft compound. besides, how many times did nando posed a quick 1st and 2nd sector then suddenly deliberately slows down or dives into the pit? one thing is for sure, this car still havn't made a proper qualifying simulation
    Hell would have broken loose

One thing 100% for sure: next two weeks will become very hard ... 'cause everyone thinks he knows for sure and draw the right conclusion
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

"The alarm bells are ringing at Ferrari"

If for example tomorrow Merc is 2 seconds slower than our fastest lap then will there also be an article titled "The alarm bells are ringing at Mercedes"? LOL

Yup..i don't think we're behind about 2s off the pace from Merc..maybe below 1s, plus with water leakage seem to affect today's run..Hope our reliability still intact..
And like you said, i don't think we're doing proper qualifying sim..

Seems that any other team than with a Merc Engine has alarm bells ringing ...
a small excerpt from german motorsport-total.com

Grosjean schlägt Alarm: Melbourne als weitere Testfahrt? --> Grosjean rings Alarm: Melbourne as an additional test session as Lotus not ready ...

Bahrain: Jetzt heulen bei Red Bull die Alarmsirenen! --> Bahrain: now the alarm bells are ringing at RedBull

Ferrari: some also seem to hear ringing in Maranello ...

so spring will be a noisy time with all the alarm bells ringing ...

    Song about Bells

    Another Bell

Seemed rather obvious and rather sure Mercedes did the same thing. Rosberg said that it might be possible to get in to the 1:32s. Seeing that it was windy and sandy today, if it were better condition we would have probably seen that happen. Might see it tomorrow if it calms down. Would guess a 1:32:8 is the maximum anyone could reach.
