Lololololololol jus because a time was never stamped like this means people didn't think we were fast. Now we have a time and still don't know about fuel. There is prob only still a few tenths being hidden there.

are we seeing that often during the race? o dear...counting few cars to finish the race.

IMO, this is testing and so teams are pushing to see how far it can go. However when it comes to racing, they will do everything they can to ensure they finish the race, turning down everything if they have to. So, I don't think we'll see as many DNF as what many believe we will, as everyone will be trying to finish the race by whatever means necessary.

A glory run is low fuel. Fresh tires. Max settings. We are Ferrari. We rarely do that.

Coincidence the only team without its true livery and lack of sponsors is on top of the time sheets?

Also, with the data, and us running on hards with low fuel the team can work out the tyre performance difference and see that we could go that fast, so there is no need to pump in glory runs.

If that 1:34.280 was set on SS that was expected at least by me but if it's on the S then that is unexpected and it also suggests that we were sandbagging BIG time!

Thanks for that. Some mentioned earlier Nando had done several laps on those tires, if they are SS and say 5 or 6 laps old then that is a great time IMO.

So Ferrari are trying to hide the compound by choosing a set of tyres that haven't been marked? Very clever if that is the case. It could be that the tyres were the softs as Alonso headed out at 13:34 and set his best time around the 13:59 mark (all UK times).

It's a guess surely. But they got the fastest lap in with the softs, and stayed for a few more laps. They should have been low on fuel, so seems logical that it just ran out eventually by staying out longer.
