Nope, sky site says "unknown tyre" for Alonso, so they are just presuming it is ss

"Each driver may use no more than one gearbox for six consecutive Events..." Change gearboxes more frequently than that and grid place penalties start to be assessed.

You need both positive and negative views to formulate a more accurate picture of a situation. The amount of negative versus positive can fluctuate over time depending on the available information that is constantly changing. It helps us make better decisions which stems from being able to judge things more realistically. The majority opinion is often correct or at least close to correct. Yes it's unpleasant to read negatives but they are most invaluable.

Also being pessimistic is always better. Less let downs if you're getting ready for the worst

It's probably a good thing that nothing said or done here influences the decisions made at Maranello

Lewis's fast time was on Softs not Super Softs.

Sky confirms that lewis did a qualifying sim today and he topped the time sheets with 1.33.278.
So nico did the same yesterday 1.33.458. Both did their runs on SS.

Just want to clarify, didn't nico do a 1.33.258 on softs at the first test? Or was it SS? If it was on softs then could it be that it might not be the best setup for race pace? Does that explain why they both didn't go any faster on SS with the new set up?

Or they could actually go much faster and still not showing their hands?

It was indeed on softs. He ruined the super softs on the first lap and couldn't improve later on. Mercedes confirmed it.

Different people have different approach to what to expect, I don't see what's wrong either way. I don't understand why some people have to get so worked up with others do not share their optimism.

Tell me what is so "invaluable" about bashing the team and saying that "we won't win anything anyway and we might as well start concentrating on 2015"? Who does that help? Absolutely nobody. It just gets everybody riled up and it never serves any purpose. It's much better to stay positive and always think positively, at least that's how I feel. But if some of you want to let out some steam then by all means go ahead, but it won't make things any better. Whining and moaning here won't make the car go faster on the track, that's for sure.

I fear that is the case, but I think we have a little more speed in us as well. Interesting to see if Williams does, I think not...

I still think Williams' pace is faked like it was the other year but let's wait and see.

Neither is being optimistic, nothing we say or do here affects how the team will be in Melbourne so relax. Anybody has the right to an opinion, it's called democracy, you can't just make people be optimistic, that's imposing your will on people, some people call it comunism.

Times were faked, yes, but almost everyone knew they were slow. Now we got Button and Hulkenberg and many others saying that they are fast. I'm getting ready to see us fighting them or even slower than them if what Stefano is saying is true.
