Randstad is a Dutch sponsor but they are not sponsoring vd Garde or Frijns but I don't care at all! It's not an obligation for Martini to sponsor Ferrari. Martini chose for Williams to be more prominent on the car which was not possible at Ferrari and for sure not for the same amount of money!

My personnel conclusion is we should be in for a very competitive season, Mercedes is the front runner on the evidence we have seen up to now but i also see Ferrari in reasonable shape, the car has been reliable we have had the fastest top end speed and we have been told there is still plenty to come from the F14T. the three test's are over everyone has an opinion on Ferrari, first of all you have the usual Autosport, Gary Anderson, and other media out lets that say Ferrari are struggling, basically the usual negativity from a group of people who dislike Ferrari, then we have had some sporting media reports who say Ferrari could be hiding it's true performance and have said we can go quicker if we want to and also said our engine is still not running to it's maximum, so if you take the negatives with the positives the average tells me we are in good shape. What make's me feel we will be competitive it's the reaction we have had from our drivers both Kimi and Alonso seem very contented, especially Alonso who seem's to be very relaxed at this point, but soon we will see the true reality of our car. Forza Ferrari.

Autosport & BBC have been dreadful.. Either knocking Ferrari or pretending we don't exist!

    Fernando sounds optimistic

Alonso: “A lot to test on Friday in Melbourne”

Maranello, 6 March –With a week to go until free practice gets underway in Albert Park, Alonso is training hard to be as well prepared as possible when the Ferrari F14 T makes its race weekend debut. Fernando has tackled an all-encompassing training regime including running, cycling, karting and even football, which is a particular passion of the Maranello driver. One of these sessions was filmed by Prancing Horse sponsor Santander, and a clip can be seen in the attached video.

However, his mental focus is already on the Melbourne track and all the unknown factors that involves. “We come to the start of this championship with the team having had twelve days of testing, while as a driver I’ve had six. A few more days would have been useful given how much has changed for this season. With every lap of testing we learned something and improved pretty much constantly. I think that will still be the case in Australia, especially on the first day and then actually in the first few races.”

There are the usual unknowns because the cars are still new, but there are also those linked to the rule changes. “The new Formula 1 rules are very different to what we were used to. I think the concept of what constitutes a Grand Prix will actually change this year, with Saturday and Sunday being very different from one another. In qualifying, one will be able to get everything out of the car, pushing the new power unit to the limit, trying to get the absolutely best result. But in the race you won’t get anywhere near that level. Last year, towards the end of the races, on new tyres, you could do very quick lap times, whereas in the closing stages this year, you will have to bear in mind how much fuel you have left, the state of the batteries and that of the tyres. You will need to be very clever to manage these parameters and the new race strategies could see drivers being unable to go flat out to the end.”

Alonso also had a thought for those watching the races at home. “As drivers, we will get used to it quickly and so I hope these rules aren’t immediately overturned and that they stay unchanged for a few years. Otherwise the spectators could lose confident in this new Formula 1 which is very complex, even for the viewer.”

i hope a fast car , a battle fernando vs kimi for WCD.
If the ferrari is a little behind mercedes our racers will kill hamilton and rosberg.Massa was as fast as alonso when the car was good in qualy but nowhere in races .Kimi is not as fast as massa in qualy but much stronger in races. It will be close between them.
    pronostic for everyone:
    1.mercedes
    2 ferrari
    3.williams
    4.Mclaren
    5.Force india
    6.Redbull
    7.torro rosso
    8.Sauber
    9.Lotus
    10.marussia
    11.caterham.

In my experience when people come out with such outbursts as the above it usually backfires on themselves.
    Let's hope that's not Ferrari

Indeed, Martini could never get the same amount of advertisement space on Ferrari as they can on Williams' or any other team's car. It would be impossible to put that white Martini livery on a red Ferrari.

I think it is great to have Martini back in F1.
It brings me back to a happier and less commercial time in F1 where racers were men, not boys and they had to wrestle the car.
Michael was the last of that generation. Having Martini back in F1 is almost as good as when Lotus first brought back the black and gold livery.

Pure Beauty. I wish them well this year as FW deserves some more success.

@Katu: maybe it is worth to get up early
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Not exactly the most reliable source for judging this season's pecking order but Bruno Senna says that:
"For sure it is Mercedes first, Ferrari second."

    We'll see...

Ma nije uopće bitno, ne moramo prvi bit' može i drugi sam da se možemo borit za 1. mjesto. Bilo bi glupo da budemo nedodirljivi.

english people, this is an international forum....

and english is the international language...
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.

While it might not make sense to you to see a "white" Martini livery on the Ferrari, Martini does have a history sponsoring red cars, and also did sponsor Ferrari in f1 (2006-2008 I think).

See the red Martini livery on Brabham here for example...

Yes indeed, you're right. I had completely forgotten about the Brabham, thanks for the reminder.

And yea, Martini did sponsor Ferrari in 2006-2008 but it was just a small logo on the nose cone...

I do appreciate that he gives us so much to loathe him for! But when Ferrari doesn't do good enough to make him look completely idiotic though it's kind of like a couple of days after you've got stuck by a thorn & it starts to throb AGAIN because the tiny tip of it broke off & now it has gotten infected.

I mustve been foolish thinking I was going to see noses similar to those of the late 80's early 90's.
    Nose opinions anyone?
Well, since you asked, I've noticed mine is getting bigger (not in the pinocchio sense, more like potato-ish), I noticed this right after I discovered Adrian Newey is YOUNGER THAN ME... aargh
Been walking around the house like something stinks now, trying to slow the rate of expansion

    Haha, ima nas Balkanaca ovdje.
Anyway, really hoping for some good pace from Ferrari in Melbourne. There still is not any good reason to belive that Ferrari was sandbagging in pre-season testing.
