I know this is nothing to do with Ferrari but i just like hanging the proverbial on Ron.
I don't like him but respect what he has achieved.

However he has recently come out and stated that they are negotiating with several parties to be their title sponsor and that their recent run of bad results has pushed the sponsorship price down which he wont stand for because he "knows what his company can achieve"...

Here's an idea Ron; put your money where you mouth is! Just as he puts his drivers on performance bonuses he should allow any prospective sponsor to do the same thing.

If McLaren performs well then the sponsors should pay more. As a potential sponsor I would be happy with this approach as I am then guaranteed to get value for money. I'm not taking a massive risk in paying too much to sponsor a team who may be midfield and attract minimal TV time.

Time for the shoe to be on the other foot and for you to realise that no matter how hard you try the McLaren brand will never have the pull of Ferrari.

McLaren is like those really skinny models that no one knows who they are, they get on stage and sometimes look nice depending on who dressed them but they look rather plain and no flair.

Ferrari on the other hand is like Sophia Loren/Vergara. Classic, timeless beauty. Mclaren will never have that.
