Let me help you regarding why I said he is a Mercedes lover, just look back at previous quote's very simple.

There is nothing wrong in praising the opposition, if some one is better than you and wins fair and square you applaud them and say well done, but where my argument is, if you are on a Ferrari forum and continually put your team down and praise the other teams I think it is only natural for me as a Ferrari fan to say something.

You mean to tell me that stating that Mercedes is faster that Ferrari is putting your team down? Personally i have been tired of the sub-par performance of the Ferrari for the last 3-5 years. All this catch up we are forced to play and then eventually loosing is not a lot of fun. Frustration on my part and others leading to statements like "we suck and Mercedes is fast" is just fans venting their frustrations at the state of Ferrari. It doesn't help to have to come here and be careful what you say or be accused of being a fan of the opposition.

If we have a slower car then we obviously suck at building a fast car. Why put on rose glasses and praise Ferrari when they do not deserve it?

Thank you Nero Horse for your support.. Can't wait for the race this weekend, I think reliability will be the key for the first few races, and I know there has been concerns for Ferrari and other teams regarding fuel consumption but the way it is looking there has to be safety cars during the race due to reliability, therefore helping to over come fuel consumption.

Regarding our long run pace: Rosberg stated in an article released on F1.com that fuel conservation is very tough for everyone and that he wasn't hitting his fuel target during his long run. We can only take these times with a grain of salt, how much fuel did they have on board, who was running at optimal fuel efficiency, who was running too fast and would have run out of gas by the finish etc.

To still be pessimistic as Alonso finished 1st and 3rd in the 2 sessions yesterday is insanity. We have a good baseline car. If we develop it and if we show good reliability and strategy we will have a chance to fight for the championship. That is all we can ask for.

Totally agree with you, just watching Practice 2 we look in reasonable shape, as you say our baseline look's good and now with our wind tunnel working as it should do we should be able to develop the car well through out the season.

I'm just rewatching FP2 and my word David Croft is dumb! I find him so hard to listen to and to take his opinions seriously. His patriotism, no mild jingoism, grates as well. The whole of the Sky team are annoying in that regard, I hope we do lots of winning and force them to say nice things about us.

Quite agree, I'm already Lewised out, and a broadcaster such as Sky should take into account their global audience, particularly as we're all paying to watch it. And nice to see a constant stream of Brit-based tifosi posting with their support, even if we can often be a bit critical! Hope the next couple of days give us cause for optimism for the season, even if the TV punters disagree.

Back on trend, thought guys....Quali....for sure it will benefit been at the front, less overtaking will surley be better for the fuel saving HOWVER doesn't quali have even less relevance...as you could be the fastest car out their (some saying we will be quick in quali and not race) but if you rubbish at fuel then youll just be cruising anyway dropping back!! Its a real shame tbh!
