Over 1-1/2 seconds slower. Time for more inspirational speeches from SD about being patient, faithful, focused, etc.

P5 and P11. Lots of work to do but if the setups are frozen then handling will be about the same in race.

Yep. Red Bull will figure out what's happened to Vettel and they wil be up there with Mercedes. We will be playing catch up again. Exactly what I was looking for. Not.

others are trading fast laps while one of our car is knocked of Q3, and the other can manage P5. I seriously think we have huge mountain to climb even if we have two of the best drivers around. The cars seem to be not as drivable as others and the engine may not be as powerful as those from Mercedes

P5 isn't so bad, as many things can happen during the race. This is the easy part done, now for the more difficult part on Sunday

I'm impress by Ric, that guy got some serious skill against Vettel

We did it the wrong way around. First wets, then inters. Ferrari really hangs on to those words "no strategic mistakes" from Alonso...

Times change, Alonso position in Qualy stays the same... good job from rookies.
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

Vettel lost much more in second sector due to his mistake, kimi maybe cost him 1-2 tenths since he got rid of yellow flags quickly according to new regulations.

So Mercedes could build a competitive car right from the start and Ferrari couldn't with all the rule changes we've been waiting for.

Was cheering for an RBR today. Unbelievable! Hope Ricciardo will be a tough nut for Vettel.

Yeah! P5, here we meet again! Yayy!

What else do we have? Ah, yeah, the working wind-tunnel.

Rain a lot: Exit with inters.

Track is drying at the end: Exit with full wet.

    Ferrari strategic logic.

It was a engine related regulations change. And also there we only manage to be average again.

Once again. The schumi-todt-brawn years just gave wrong impression about how good we are.

You are right. It is only the 1st qually of the season, but it is like 5 year in a row with same results (performance)

Germany 2012 was our last pole position and Malaysia 2013 was our last front row.

Will we ever get pole/front row in near future?
