It's race 1 of a new F1 era with many rule changes, have a little bit of patience maybe instead of from race 1 whining and crying about the team you are meant to be supporting.

Very well done podium finishers. I hope Ferrari learned a lot from this race and is able to analyze that and improve things.

    Australian GP 2014 Race thread

Pretty happy with the result considering our electrical problems and subsequent power disadvantage. Where would we have been without those problems...probably ahead of McLaren. Definitely on the podium. Really pleased for Ricciardo and a great debut for Magnussen and Kvyat.

Thanks to the Safety Car the gap to Merc looks not that bad ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Well I think under the circumstances we did the best with what we had,I suppose we were a bit lucky that some retired and a few mistakes by others, otherwise the result would have been much worse,i know this is far from ideal, but I think the coming 3 races before we get to Europe, will be an uphill task!!

The start was pretty mental, the thought of it kept me entertained for quite some time. Also, VET cruising was fun to watch.

Anyway, I refuse to have high hopes anymore. There is something fundamentally wrong in the managerial structure of the team and something is lacking. Red Bull destroyed us for aero, and Merc seem to have done a much better job in the most "Ferrari thing" - the engine. Disappointing as they come.

Hope Ferrari learned something about the car systems today and the so called fuel thirsty engine.

It will be interesting to see the fastest lap times. The problems are visible to everyone and also mentioned by Alonso in the past days. It's now to the hands of the team to give a solution to each one of them.
