Didn't Movistar or the parent group rather sponsor Renault during the time Alonso was there?

Does anyone got or read the Marca newspaper to enlighten us on this rumour ?
Poor old Button. Shame if Honda does this to him.

I honestly don't blame Fernando if he moves, theres only so much one person can take and if Ferrari were going to deliver this year was there best chance. It's hard to watch Ferrari at the moment on T.V. unable to overtake caterhams and force indias, let alone be driving.

Good for him if he leaves. Whoever replaces him will still fight for WDC with us.

There's only a handful of drivers that would be capable of fighting for the WDC given the difficulty of driving the Ferrari:

    Hamilton, Alonso and Hulkenberg

I would also add Kubica to that but he's out of the picture probably for good. Rosberg is solid and Bottas has potential.

If Alonso went to McLaren next year it would be a mistake. They will be in a building year because of the new Honda engines. There is no doubt that the Macs will eventually have a winner, but it could take a few years. Plus this season has just begun. yes, the Mercedes look great, but the rest of the teams seem to be on just about the same level as each other.
It will be interesting to see how the next few races unfold. If Aloso decides to leave good for him, but it could be a huge mistake!

Yes, it's not like any of the current drivers has done it...

Not really. I would rather him in the team than having to compete against him!

It is easy to make that misunderstanding, it's been so much love and support towards him around here lately.

Well you don't see me going around calling Kimi a drunken Finn, that would be as immature and baseless

I'm all for discussing about the driver's performance if one wishes to do so, but these accusation that Alonso insults the team and play politics all the time is really getting old. What's the point of blindingly accusing our own drivers here.

I don't get ur comment. Clearly my commentS make me look less biased to drivers. I hate it when drivers make inappropriate comments about their team engineers. Alonso has a knack of doing this. Look at Button he is a WC too, but doesn't go about berating the team at every chance he gets. Don't get me wrong i do admire Alonso's racing prowess, but don't like his PR mode, he seems too political.
Why suddenly think I am biased towards Kimi. He is in our team too. I want him to perform for Ferrari just like Alonso does. This is also not an Alonso forum. I find it hard not to laugh seeing this acqusitions coming from guys(not particularly u) who feel more vexed about Alonso not getting to fight wid the top dogs than to feel for the team in their difficulty.
Its immature on part of u guyz, who have been on this forum much longer not to point this out. We are here for the team first, not for characters in it.

I will not blame alonso if he quit us at the end of this year.Ferrari doesn t give him a car to compete with the other.
2010:F10, the car had good mechanical traction, but the level of the car was massa not alonso.Redbull was faster but not reliable so that gave us some room to fight for the world championship driver...at the end of the year ferrari was on the same level as mclaren because of fernando ,massa was constantly beat by mclaren and redbull.
2011:Car was poor in traction, ferrari was behind RB,mclaren, and sometimes lotus or mercedes.
2012:one of the big dog produce by ferrari, that is the best year of driving for him,a car that was 1.5 of the pace...RB,Mercedes,lotus,sauber,force india, all was faster than us.
2013:Pace was not good, unable to develop a car(excuse excuse excuse from the team).
2014: same thing poor engine, car with oversteer understeer.1 sec of the pace...no improving.

After malaysia 2012, an absolute master race from Alonso , stella said we are proud of you and not the team...he was right to say that ...and he can say that again and again.
what on earth ferrari is doing !I think lucas made a mistake with alonso last year when he said to not blame the team and stay focusing on his job because what said fernando was absolute the true that EVERYONE think the same. After that something is broken in the team with alonso. There is no more passion in his eyes, i think he is a little bit demotivate and lucas pick kimi because he know that fernando will leave the team at the end of the year....
The fact now is after 3 races the gap to mercedes is still 1sec and there is no improvement. We are behind mercedes, redbull, force india, williams. So the 5th team and THAT IS THE SHAME.Now lucas play some political games because he knows without some change Ferrari will still be behind all mercedes team and redbull .(consumption, aero, power unit) .Ferrari is now a midfield team and without the best driver it will be expose in the eyes of everyone.

See what i mean, bashing the team incessantly at every chance they get. I hate this.
