I thought the new front wing did not pass the crash test

Different nose must be crash tested not front wing.

Apparently it did i would see no reason why spraying an old wing at this point.
We also got new engine covers and both drivers have a lower sitting.
So it seems our team worked on many changes now lets hope they will deliver.

I think it was the new nose, not wing that failed according rumors.

    Vettel out.
Our guys seems to be missing a lot in sector 3, first two sectors we are close but it seems we have big problems in high speed as expected ?

    3 sector is traction.

There is no "high speed" in Barcelona, we loose in S3 for the same reason as the last couple of years: the chicane just kills us. You should watch the chicane on board Ferrari vs Merc,

Spot on, i stand corrected ,my bad.

I guess we should wait for more and get a clearer image as the session goes on but it feels weird for us lose so much time in traction based sector ?

Does the First sector satisfies the definition of high speed corners?

Initial impressions are that the field is much closer relative to each other than in the previous races. Red Bull seems to have improved and are looking very strong on this track. We are at least looking ok!

Misunderstanding, I didn't mean high speed as in high speed corners, I thought LivingHitokiri was pointing at high speed as in straights. We know from previous races we are good in high speed corners so, I assumed that wasn't what he was pointing at
