    F1 show biz 2016 :
Toto - "Ferrari are a real threat" .... Nico - "Awesome, everything is just awesome" .....Lulu - "Mental strength man, lifestyle man, I'll drive at 400% as ever man".... and then suddenly a wild Bull out of nowhere slams into a Ferrari.

is there not clauses on contracts that both parties have to agree on ? Which can then lead to either party leaving a contract without any sueing or difficulty
"That has made me fall in love with Ferrari even more today than ever." Fernando Alonso

I imagine so, but if Ferrari do not agree to break the contract then Alonso will not be able to just go sign with Mercedes.

Don't remember saying much about that, I had no issues with Kimi returning to Ferrari, you must be confusing me with someone else lol. And besides, I don't understand why are you getting so upset about me making fun of these silly rumors? Are they your made up rumors and you're now crying because no one wants to believe them? If they're not your personal rumors then I don't see any reason why you should get so upset about me poking a few jokes on the expense of these rumors. And surely you don't wish for Fernando to go to Merc??? So let us laugh at these rumors in peace and just calm down.

Newey was approached by Ferrari in the past and he quite simply does not want to live in Italy, so I can't see that rumour every transpiring...

Alonso to Mercedes will also not happen, when you have the fastest car on the grid by a country mile, you don't need to have the best driver on the grid... as for Alonso wanting to leave, given the car he's been given year after year, then yeah, I can see that happening... but I can't see him going to Mercedes, he'll need to be patient and go the way of short 1-2 year contracts with other teams to see who will be capable of mounting a challenge to Mercedes...

What's this rumour about a LeMans prototype?
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...

I follow Felipe every race , so for sure I would follow Alonso if he left, right? Briatore will never let Alonso leave Ferrari.

And what if he goes?! What are you going to do about it? I'll tell you exactly what you're gonna do.....nothing, zip, nada! If he goes then he goes and there's no point in crying and moaning about it. Life goes on and Ferrari will go on, with or without Alonso. But if you want to push the panic button then by all means, go nuts.

Contracts means nothing, specially with dozens of clausules. The rumour from last year is that Fernando has a performance clausule that Ferrari has not fulfilled and he is free to go because of that.

I don't recall Luca ever saying that. Ferrari never ruled out Kimi's return. In fact Stefano did say anything is possible. More importantly, Massa contract was coming to an end and naturally Ferrari had to make a decision.

This is not the position Mercedes is in. They have 2 drivers contracted to them.

I think we all know who was driving F310 next year
Ferrari was looking to rebuild at that time. But this again, is not a position Mercedes is in right now. They have everything in place, and it's working out perfectly. They just need to keep going forward.

Mercedes has a working formula with current personnel, car and drivers. They are head and shoulders above the rest and keep winning everything. I do not see any reason for them to change the formula.

Than, almost on 20th anniversary from that year (1995), maybe it is a time to rebuild again...?

For Ferrari? That may be up to our new team principle

But I don't see anything changing for Mercedes, everything is going right for them.

Indeed, they just have one issue to deal with which is how to 'manage' Rosberg-Hamilton situation. Alonso has no option apart from Ferrari, no other team is in a position to give him more than what Ferrari are giving right now (car performance), moreover he enjoys the team atmosphere, no reason for him to leave

Why do such threads escalate into 2 or even more pages? There's nothing to talk about. Alonso loves Ferrari, Ferrari is satisfied with the job he is doing. End of story, what is here to discuss???

No other team has shown in recent times that they can match Mercedes or RedBull. Why would he jump from a 5/10 car to another 5/10 car?

So do you think Merc will let go Rosberg or Hamilton? Everything seems settled there. Why would they?
