wow ... Hamilton was so off during the interview ... pfff ... If I recall right it was 3 complete sentences
5th and 6th is pretty much what we could expect ...

in terms of pure times after Alonso all second class ... wow ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Best stat of the weekend: Vettel has never won a GP when starting lower than 3rd spot on the grid!!!!!!!!!!!
Based on Qualy: Ferrari and Alonso will still be racing after the Mercs cross the finish line to the tune of 54+ seconds behind!!!!
WHEN was the last time a Ferrari qualified for the front row?

Realistic and expected result, just the gap between FA and KR is still a bit too big.
Rosberg, don't believe it was intentional but a true mistake.
Hamilton will be all fired up for tomorrow......if the team again let's them race eachother it could become a thriller.....or a nightmare for both.
Vettel, of course it has to be the car......it can't be Ricciardo......or can it....?
    Felipe, why again Felipe?
Maldonado, nothing wrecked today but wait until tomorrow for the big show......it will take days to clean it all up.
The Caterhams going for a new record tomorrow: start at the back and still being overtaken by 20 cars........

Brundle and coultard started to say how he was getting up there with senna straight after he won in monza in 2011. I almost vomited, and switched off the tv in disgust, still irritates me today.

On the other hand, I think people are underrating Riccardo. He seems to me like a very adaptable driver, reminding me of another such driver who goes by the name of Alonso

Maybe it's not that Vettel is not good, but he's finally paired with an upcoming great driver

Fair but Daniel hasnt exactly dominated any of his previous teammates, so he maybe good but as to whether potentially great, only time will tell.lets not forget that webber on more than one occasion made vettel look ordinary, most greats don't let that happen.

The problem with Vettel is that he's not used to driving a car that is as unstable as this year's cars are, he's used to having a car that is glued to the track and now that he has to drive this car with less downforce he's really struggling. Ricciardo has been driving mediocre cars in previous years and thanks to that he's now been able to get used to this year's car with less downforce much quicker than Vettel has.

Yep good point. Vettel only started to beat webbo comprehensively once the ebd became optimized I think mid-late 2010

I think Riccardo just need more experience with it...he just had a good opening start with team and he going good...so he has way to go.

About Rosberg incident, I don't think anything will change, he'll start at pole and going for win, just like last year!

Last Ferrari (non Alonso) pole position was Massa 2008. Brazil.

Watching Rosberg's onboard lap, to me it didn't look like a purposeful incident. He should be good to start from Pole

Perhaps 5 & 6 are the best places to be on the grid tomorrow
Unless Rosberg is penalised there could be mayhem at the first corner! It may be exciting but I don't think we want to see anyone get badly hurt.

Yeah, that is a good point, Ric certainly came from a lesser downforce car.

If Rosberg takes a penalty for reversing back to the track unnecessarily/dangerously that's a fair cop. I believe he didn't crash on purpose
Maybe the problem is not the mistake, but how he reverse back on track

Don't know why some here try to find some excuse why Vettel is slower than Ric ...

If Vettel would be this shining star as some in the pitlane and some from media would like to have, he would have adopt in 3rd race latest to the actual conditions (there was also testing in between to get his lady known).
What ever you where used to in the days before the availability to adopt in 'real time' to the actual conditions makes an excellent driver out of an good driver. And on this matter Vettel just fails so far.

And if the media make a big deal of Kimi beating Alonso by 0,036 then 0,163 between Vettel and Ric today is half a world ...

Good, all this nico lewis drama should go on,and they should take each other in turn 1,take bulls also with them somehow.
    Voila Ferrari 1-2 then.
    Wishful thinking.
But i hope Alonso will somehow make 1 place at least and finish 4th.

I don't think anyone here is trying to find any excuses for Vettel, we were simply discussing various possibilities why Ricciardo has been better than him. Surely there's no harm in that? No excuses whatsoever, at least not from my part. I honestly couldn't care less what Vettel is doing at RB as long as I don't have to see that finger of his LOL

No penalty please. Not intentional. If they give him a penalty might as well invent a new rule: "If causing a yellow flag at monaco qualifying, you get a 10 place grid penalty"!

Lewis will be prepared to eat the tarmac in order to get to the first corner first.......this could turn out to be a very exciting GP.

yes, I would be surprised something does not go wrong on that first corner with LH only suspecting Rosberg's accident was on purpose.
