Question Is it possible for F14T to preform better than RB10 after Monaco GP?

I think no 'cause F14T is slower car and RBR was much better in development troughout past few years.

We can do it, think positive. I still believe that when Ferrari exploits the true potential of their engine they be where they need to be. Of course this may be at the start of next year. I am just saying, I have faith in the team, especially as an engine manufacturer.

Is it possible for F14T to preform better than RB10 after Monaco GP?

Couple of tenths down on RB on a track with high traction demands & high downforce. I am optimistic post Canada, but still believe Mercs are untouchable

It can fight the RBR ,atleast I believe that way.
If we did fine in Monaco and qualified ahead of FI & Williams on a track where i thought we would be fighting Caterham(not literally) then there are chances of Ferrari fightback in Canada (with news of a Engine boost)

    I believe F14T is a sleeping beast.
Lot more to extract from it.

No. I don't think so, Rbr have better chasis, better aero, better development, they have Newey. No chance this year.

We'll have to wait and see what upgrades Ferrari will bring for the PU. Until we've seen the result of our PU upgrades in Canada, I'd say it's still possible.

Too soon to say... we have to wait and see, but I think the F14T CAN beat RB10, also the RB10 would have upgrades as well.

    Hmm...
What exactly did they upgrade at Monaco? Did you noticed ANY change on the car? I mean REAL change, not track specific change... Mercedes are unbeatable, so is the RB10. They bring updates to every GP. And their updates works. As for FI/Williams: Well, I still believe that they lack on the drivers front...

Nope, James Alliso mentioned we have chassis issues as well along-with the PU driveability. We need to get all these sorted out before thinking we can challenge anyone this season.

Unlikely. We are no match for Red Bull's relentless development pace. We still have fundamental issues that need addressing and rectifying.

Unfortunately, there is strong signal that the beast is anything but a sleeping beauty.
Still, I hope time to prove me wrong, and my dream of Ferrari 1-2 will materialise very very soon.

Even if the promised PU upgrades work, we seem to be behind yet again on chassis and aero behaviour, so I don't feel we're likely to be able to challenge RB and certainly not Merc this season, much as I'd like to believe that we could. Our team's ability to make everything gel together seems to have vanished and until it's sorted, we can't fight for wins. We have the drivers (again) but they don't have the tools.

I think engine upgrade will be key in Canada for the rest of the season. If we somehow sort the things out with PU we can handle RB easy

    .

Our PU is the worst of the field...Marussia is in the point with bianchi...when they are behind caterham most of the time...A big shame for a " Top team" ....ferrari doesn t deserv to have the name of top team in regard of engineer of the car but the opération team(race team) and driver are at the best...
So now there is just an upgrade for the PU in canada , no B spec....boring season already...and without a win..

    I voted Yes.
basically.. RBR .. yes, Merc--- NO.
We seem to have a good base this year and are at par with RBR. But Mercs are untouchable. This year goes to LH or NR and merc.

The last time I checked this thread, ''no'' results was higher then ''yes''...but now I can see more of ''yes''!

The car was fine in Monaco Grand Prix...it was stable and have been good to run, Kimi had a great start and Fernando had a perfect race...so why we can't be optimistic about the next?!

Maybe we can't win, but we'd get all the best that we could!

Fernando had brake troubles last part of race, may have been a little closer to Ric save for that & on a track that suited the RB car very well. We will see, Canada is a tough test.

Tough test for Red Bull I guess? Those long straights won't make them happy.

How is the RB10 unbeatable? It's not won a race yet? I don't really think the Ferrari is that bad a car really. Maybe we're expecting too much. Certainly we'll be closer when(or if) the engine progresses sufficiently.

Of course we can. It all depends on how hard we work and if we can over run our opponents in making upgrades work the way they're supposed to.

Than why Ferrari hasn't done better job than Mercedes?
