We can get second row easily. We have made a step forward. RedBull are not a threat. Williams are threat in qualifying but we will pass them easily in the race if they were faster in qualifying (The won't be).
Ferrari have made a huge step FORWARD.

Seems rear body cover and floor are working fine and both drivers like them, but we are nearing the warning limits on temperatures and the weather keeps getting hotter at the track.

So, so disappointing. I don't even have hopes and still get disappointed.
If heat is an issue I can understand engine cover and outlets going back to old versions but why has the floor gone back to old? Shame as yesterday seems whoever had the new floor had a big jump relative to the other driver.

Could it be the new floor only works with the new cooling configuration. I can think of know other reason.

I just hope by the time they get it to work in higher temps 2 or 3 races have not passed others develop and it has no effect in relative performance. Sometimes I wish Ferrari would go a bit Las Vegas and just run with it and fingers crossed it does not blow. Even if it blew, racing at the front with pace then blowing would be more entertaining for me than a reliable 5th or worse never showing any great pace. It's not as if Ferrari are in a championship fight.

Sure, we have made huge step forward... even though the updates are not on the car, right?

And look at the downturn in relevent pace. Should of ran them then if engine blows up you have scope to change part of engine design as a reliability issue. It may not blow. Just take the risk.

    great Rosberg !!!!

Ferrari, forget about it. Of course like FA said it is not that they can abandon the season, but they do need to focus on a new car. This one is just not there (and ugly as it can get :))

RB is embarrassing us. How they worked with their car to get it back on track is just…well really no surprise given the last 4 years. Mattiacci we are in your hands, but it is impossible to do worse than your predecessor.

Williams fantastic. I admire their good work as well. Massa of course beaten by Bottas, doh !

I predict Rosberg world champion ! that is because I know the future of course. No, it is because that is what I really wish and I do think he deserves it.

I think its beacuse sidepod downwash affects the high pressure zone near rear tyre wake, so thereby affecting flow towards diffuser. The fatter rear bodywork and I presume the undercut below is indicative of how flow is being modified over the floor in comparison to slimmer overcut one.
Recent example in this regard was Coanda and how it led to changes in the floor.

    F1 show biz 2016 :
Toto - "Ferrari are a real threat" .... Nico - "Awesome, everything is just awesome" .....Lulu - "Mental strength man, lifestyle man, I'll drive at 400% as ever man".... and then suddenly a wild Bull out of nowhere slams into a Ferrari.
