Well done by Alonso and the team to secure P4, I believe this was the most we could hope for.

And congratulations to Massa's pole position, once again proving he still got the speed in him when given the right tool.

If not we than Williams my first choice for a pole ...
hard work of one of last man standing in this sport ...

nice gesture from Fernando to Felipe ...

face of Vettel ... you can't buy it for money ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Alonso also deserves some nap time then...Good qualy for him though, happy for Felipe!
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

Really happy for Massa. It's about time he had some luck, and lol at Mercedes drivers choking the first time they have a challenge in Q3.

Good qualifying from Alonso but what happened to Kimi?

Wondering if what Mercedes is experiencing is down to losing Brawn.

I wonder whether some outsiders may start to give aloso some credit, rather than saying Kimi is not doing well because he isn't comfortable. Alonso is really pounding Kimi at the moment

All his attempts he had sector 1 on a 17.6 so i do not think you can even count those as attempts.
So either Raikkonen was using old SS tyres and saved one for the race or he had some serious issues with the car.

Excellent job by Fernando! He was on it the whole weekend. Hope for even better tomorrow.

Congratulations to Massa, well done. Shows he still has it. Am glad that it's him and not the Mercs or Red Bulls for once.

    Yep

    F1 show biz 2016 :
Toto - "Ferrari are a real threat" .... Nico - "Awesome, everything is just awesome" .....Lulu - "Mental strength man, lifestyle man, I'll drive at 400% as ever man".... and then suddenly a wild Bull out of nowhere slams into a Ferrari.

everyone knows ALONSO is teh most complete driver on the grid if not the BEST...he's beaten every team mate he's had to date and that is no ferry tale...is a FACT

he's able to extract more out of car that is a real HANDFULL to drive...like the F14T is this year, the F2012, the F15th...and so on

drivers like Kimi, Massa....need and almost perfect car to pull a good lap...

that's where the difference is between ALO and the rest

Massa get a pole so Ferrari made a mistake letting him go

Ferrari have a better chance of winning tomorrow against just Williams
    than Mercedes.

Indeed, I wouldn't complain if someone other than Merc wins again this weekend.

    If it ain't a Ferrari, I hope it's Massa

+1 and I also think his qualifying is generally underrated.

    Disappointment?
How many times have we been starting in better position than P4?

i'm almost 100% sure that Ferrari will up their game for next year on the ENGINE/power unit as they are allowed to make changes/modifications for next year and along with James Allison on board with 100% input on teh design of the next year's car....i think GOOD THINGS WILL COME OUT OUT THIS....
