First time since a few races that I realy looking forward to watch the race ...

"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Felipe's pole just show what we have been missing the last few years.. Did you see his son and wife running to meet him, the emotion that is envolved, also the fact that everyone seems to love Felipe being on pole.. It's this emotion and character in racing drivers that we have been missing the last years (Seb, but also Lewis (he Always wants to be a "cool gangstah", and Nico (who care more about how is hair is))

as it is Austrian Grand Prix, like Austrian would say: tuats ned streiten ... means: do not contend, so much positive things today ... it isn't worth ...

Well 4th place to start from is actually pretty good, great job by Fernando, as per usual. Too bad Kimi didn't quite get it together in Q3, but 8th place ain't that bad either, hopefully he can make up some positions in the race tomorrow and bring home some good points. Forza Ferrari!

Apparently Raikkonen got a flat spot on his car in q3 and he hopes the tyres can be changed.
I wonder tho, arent the drivers forced to use Q2 tyres?

I never thought Massa wasn't a competitive driver. His problems at Ferrari were more down to an uncompetitive car and a very good teammate.

Short track, Mercs underperformed, but we used working parts so.. But probably it's also the straights which benefit Williams and hurt RBR, Silverstone will be a different story. I hope we do well there, big chance that RBR will be very good there

I don't understand your point. No one is saying Alonso is worse just because he is behind Massa. Ferrari did not have the pace to match the Williams or Merc, so we got the position we are in now. Want pole? Improve the car and take it on track.

Massa did a perfect job of getting the best out of that Williams and it was enough to give him pole position, so he deserve it, no?

If not Red Bull, its Williams who take advantage of the Mercs choke up. When will Ferrari get its car right? 2015, 2016... 2020? I honestly thought Ferrari would get their car & engine sorted by Canada/Austria as promised by LdM. This is the last time I believe anything said by him!

I wouldn't say Smedley was doing a bad job for us. And Felipe hasn't really improved, IMO. He is the same driver, his car is just superior and easier to driver than what Ferrari gave him in the past 4 years.

Don't have any illusions, we don't have the pace nor the straight line speed to overtake. P6-P7 is what we have to expect.

Well that was quite out of the ordinary for a qualifying. P4 because Hamilton couldn't complete a lap, otherwise it would have been "the norm" for Fernando once again. I understood that Kimi had a problem with the last tyre set, he was pretty lucky to get P8. For the race we are likely fighting for P5 to P7 as I really can't see us keeping Hamilton behind us. But anything can happen, lets hope it will.

    Forza Ferrari!

lol. Kimi with a failure of some sort again. Does he have a different quality of car than Alonso or is he just damn unlucky?

He had no failure, he made many mistakes, including a flat spot in his first lap.

Yeah, I would love it if there was radio silence from Ferrari for a couple of weeks and then they arrive on track and blow everyone away!

Had to do volunteer job with children today, so missed the quali, but what a results! Congrats to Felipe, I feel so happy for him. Awesome! And Alonso in 4th is great as well, even though it's .5s behind the Williams.

Can't wait to download and watch the quali myself.

Wow, second row is a fantastic result. We could be in for a podium tomorrow.
