They say that even a broken watch is right twice a day...

Should have been done years ago in my opinion.

    F1 show biz 2016 :
Toto - "Ferrari are a real threat" .... Nico - "Awesome, everything is just awesome" .....Lulu - "Mental strength man, lifestyle man, I'll drive at 400% as ever man".... and then suddenly a wild Bull out of nowhere slams into a Ferrari.

It is not enough that there are two dominant Mercedes, but we need a third one?!?!?!?!?

It's actually not a bad idea. I would love to see three Ferraris race at the same time, even if they all finished out of the points.

    Disappointed Since 2010

First step to get to customer cars, what Ferrari really wants.

Oh, and I see Bernie managed to get a shot at Ferrari (wanting Newey)

Isnt whats his name thinking of leaving F1? Caterham I think.
Not sure if I like the idea or not, could be good, but teams leaving F1 isnt.
F1 is half destroyed Bernie, may as well finish it off.

If they dump Monza Im out.

They should get rid of Mr Ecclestone and use the money that goes into his pockets to pay more money to the teams and especially to the smaller ones.

But that is not going to happen.

That's actually a very good point. If the larger teams ran more cars, the smaller teams are going to get pushed out of the points. All the more reason for them to leave the sport.

I don't like the idea of third car. Formula1 will turn to Le Man Grid.
But it has positive side too, like we will see more talented driver.

    Stick and carrot ...
Bernie threatens with Monza , then he gives 3rd Car which LcDM is asking for a long time.

Apparently Ferrari has been pushing for stuff in the background, harder than we know.

Nice, eliminate some of the financially weaker teams and push for more testing... maybe go to a two-tier or three-tier system consolidating some of the other racing series too...

At the end of the day, I just wish the racing could go back to the way it was in the 90's and early 2000's :((((

    (minus the grooved tyre period)

I don't think that goes well with the never-ending cost cutting.

Sorry, but no. No 3rd cars. To expensive, back on about reducing costs, and he comes up with this idea (again) One reason we stop making a T-Car was to reduce the costs. F1 should try and get big manufactures into the sport, and spend the F1 revenue alot better, than having half of it go out of the sport.

Agreed, but once you get rid of the smaller teams the cost-cutting issues should go away, from my understanding the bigger teams are making a fair profit from this sport... maybe it's not in-line with their parent company ROI targets but the operations of the bigger teams should be self-sufficient?

Yes, I think they are happy if they basically break even. I know Luca said one of his top priorities on his second stint at Ferrari was to have the F1 team self sufficient and had pretty much accomplished that. He said FIAT only paid a small amount, one which could easily be replaced by a sponsor. That interview was back when Schumi was still with the team, so by now he might have it even turning a small profit.

Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.
