I personally would not mind a lack of results in the first 2 or 3 races if he sweats blood and shows the team and all of us how much he values a Ferrari drive and how willing he is to help us get back on top again.

I don't doubt that he will commit 100%.

Technically; next year, most Kimi fans will be blaming Allison for designing a car that suits Sebastian. Just like he did for Romain at Lotus.

For Ferrari fans/Vettel fans, things will move on smoothly.

The decimation was Alonso outscored Raikkonen by over ONE HUNDRED POINTS.Sebastian will walk over Kimi just like he did with Mark. I don't see difference between Kimi/Jenson/Mark and mostothers.

When the car was bad, Felipe beat Kimi (part of 2009)
4 down, 3 to go! Forza Sebastian!

Jenson who beat Hamilton by 43 points in the 2011 season and only lost to Hamilton by 2 points during the 2012 season. And in 2013 and 2014 he has been significantly better than his team mates. He is way underrated imo.

Jenson was destroyed by Hamilton in 2012. It was the botched pitstops and the awful reliability for Hamilton that made Button appear close. I can give you a race-to-race comparison if you are interested :D

Driver notes Abu Dhabi GP 2014
Here the driver notes the GP Abu Dhabi in the Quick Reference Guide. The individual links for all 20 drivers can be found as always in the gallery.

    Lewis Hamilton: 10/10
    Felipe Massa: 9/10
    Valtteri Bottas: 8/10
    Daniel Ricciardo: 9/10
    Jenson Button: 9/10
    Nico Hulkenberg: 8/10
    Sergio Perez: 8/10
    Sebastian Vettel: 5/10
    Fernando Alonso: 6/10
    Kimi Raikkonen: 6/10
    Kevin Magnussen: 5/10
    Jean-Eric Vergne: 5/10
    Romain Grosjean: 7/10
    Nico Rosberg: 9/10
    Esteban Gutierrez: 6/10
    Adrian Sutil: 6/10
    Will Stevens: 5/10
    Kamui Kobayashi: 6/10
    Pastor Maldonado: 6/10
    Daniil Kvyat: 7/10

Lewis Hamilton has all the redeemed. The double points are irrelevant. He would anyway become world champion. In the final practice it looked just as if stumble the title favorite. But on race day he was wide awake. The flying start he controlled Nico Rosberg until went crazy in the Mercedes with 6 Starttnummer the technology. Hamilton would have won so. If you drive a race so confident under such great pressure, an award winner.

    Rosberg was a good loser
Nico Rosberg Hamilton has made it as difficult as possible. His eleventh pole position was a warning shot. Maybe even a wake up call. The crucial mistake underwent Rosberg right from the start. But the challenger was also the slower driver when his Mercedes was still running without complaint. The fact that he was inspired by the art misery to the Kers-cooling pump does not upset and fought to the finish, even though he was passed up to 14th place, deserves the same respect as the praise of the new world champion. "Lewis is a worthy champion." Note 9 for Rosberg.

Its a shame the season is over but all the drivers, mechanics and everyone else behind the scenes are in need of a rest, but as we all know the development side of things never stops. I hope we can have a better car for next season as our drivers will need it. So fingers crossed for Kimi and Seb.

It will be good for Vettel IMO. He will be a polished driver 2-3 years later, something he didn't get while riding rockets.

I think Vettel is showing up as special guest today since he's not allowed to join the team yet.

Seeing this picture makes the thinking behind RB's logic seem even more weirder. So Vettel is allowed to come into the Ferrari pits and talk with the engineers but he's not allowed to sit into the car? Yep, that makes perfect sense LOL

Welcome to the world of silly F1 contracts. You can't even follow twitter, imagine sitting in the car...

Getting into the garage prob required high clearance from the board as well

    That's F1 these days

a cold shiver ran down my spine ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Works both ways, I would not be happy to see Alonso driving a McLaren today and already working for them while under our contract.

I think Red Bull is not letting Vettel sit in our car yet because of commercial and marketing reasons. Infinity and other sponsors wants to use his name until the end of his contract.

The McLaren fires up, looks like it's ready to go...

The McLaren completes its first lap today but returns very slowly to the pit lane with the engine off
