    Hi

Great read I thought, seems Vergne would be quite a steal for a team in need of a driver! Will definitely bookmark the site so big thanks for that!

nonsense stuff, probably written by some alonso fan. to elevate their hero further and further, and cover his failures.

2010, 2012 seasons Alonso has been designated by the heads F1 teams as pilot of the year. Probably they are also Alonso's fans

While i think alonso is the best driver its hard to look past hamilton as number one. raikkonen seems a bit high in the list and vettel a bit low, need to swap places.

Interesting stuff and a slightly skewed order IMO, but some valid observations. Alonso in the right place but Felipe a bit far down, read all the details though and it's put into perspective. I know, he doesn't drive for us anymore, but it makes me feel better!

Interesting read. Quite agree on #1, 2 and 3.

    Dont agree on Vettel's rank.

He should rank a lot higher.

Wow ... very very detailed analysis ... Must have been a very intensive work to get it done ...
Will keep an eye on that blog as this guy seems more reliable than other so-called experts ...

as if you could understand the content of a text which lasts more than 2 sentences with more than 3 words each ...
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

Your alonso bias lets you cloud every judgment of yours.

Extremely interesting! Thanks for sharing that. I hope that Sebastian coming back down to earth is really just a result of the law of averages, as the author seems to suggest, as opposed to us being stuck with a "typical" driver. Honestly, nothing against Kimi, but I would much rather see Sebastian paired with a driver who has more miles left on his odometer, because he's basically in a lose-lose situation. If he outperforms him, fans will say it's because Kimi is too old. If he underperforms him, it will look like his signing was a complete mistake. I hope the management comes out looking brilliant.

Pray tell, what were Fernando's "failures?" Losing because of poor strategy in 2010? Having a perfect season in 2012? In many fans' eyes, including mine, he is more worthy of being a 4-time champion that Sebastian is.

The author clearly went to a massive amount of work to mathematically calculate driver performance in 2014, but by all means, don't look at the data objectively.

The "models" scam has long been thoroughly debunked by the Austrian School.

My top 3 drivers this season would be: #1 Alonso #2 Ricciardo #3 Hamilton

And I also think that Vettel's rank is too low in that list, he should be in top 6 imo

Anyone minimally familiar with Mises, Rothbard or Hoppe is aware that "models", "metrics" and any such nonsense reveals a mind so "alonsistily" confused that it fails to consider the simple fact that man acts.

Instead of purely denouncing studies, why not create one of your own and show us all how smart you are?

Not "denouncing", simply reminding of verifiably irrefutable facts. For instance, any true Ferrarista knows Luca's major mistake was to hire Ferrari hater FAD (also of Massdampergate, Spygate, Crashgate, Radiogate etc fame), a FAD wildly overrated by bought and paid for MSM babblers and scribblers, a FAD around whom a zombie fanbase alien to F1 was created out of thin air mainly in Spain. Once FAD (and his awful body language) is thankfully out of Maranello one cheerfully looks forward to the natural order best exemplified by the Schumi years being restored by his chosen successor and Kimi.

    FAD

    MSM?

FAD is now not only responsible for designing poor Ferrari cars but also for the Renault mass damper, McLaren stealing secrets, Briatore telling NPJ to crash and some radio chatter gate that I cannot recall? This guy has no break, at this point I'm surprised he even had time to drive the car from Friday to Sunday every 2 weeks.

I'm just going to leave this right here.

    "Description of Straw Man

The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position. This sort of "reasoning" has the following pattern:

    Person A has position X.
Person B presents position Y (which is a distorted version of X).
    Person B attacks position Y.
    Therefore X is false/incorrect/flawed.
This sort of "reasoning" is fallacious because attacking a distorted version of a position simply does not constitute an attack on the position itself. One might as well expect an attack on a poor drawing of a person to hurt the person."

I really like how everything you wrote has absolutely nothing to do with racing and everything to do with politics. Keep up the good work!

By the way. I wasn't aware this was the face of a "Ferrari Hater."

There's a "Sticky Post" titled "To all members, Please read" that I believe Alberto REALLY needs to read, as it relates directly to the tone & content of his posts so far.

Its seriously very very fishy, that people around alonso cheat for him to win but he has no clue of it.
From the mass dampers, and to the crash gate ( i doubt he even questioned his team pit strategy , which even makes it fishier) and to the mclaren spy gate..

As others said, glad he is gone.

Mass dampers were not even cheating, they were perfectly legal until the FIA changed their mind but really some people just make things up as they go along. Trying to blame Alonso for mass dampers is hilarious as if he designed them lol only a crazy hater could come out with that.
