    Ferrari Trivia

Who was so trusted that he was considered Enzo Ferrari's Partner in the business?

This same person worked with Enzo at Alfa Romeo long before Ferrari built cars..

Enzo once sent this person a picture of himself for a Christmas Present.

This person once told Enzo he couldn't fix his cars anymore as no two were wired the same. Enzo told him I just build the car, this person said yes I know but I have to sell them.

That was Luigi Chinetti I believe, thought about Vittorio Jano as well for a moment but he didn't sell Ferraris, so I'm sticking with Chinetti.

Who was the driver who brought Ferrari it's first official GP win with Ferrari's own constructed car, in what year and in which GP did it happen?

P.S. - I don't mean that 1951 British GP won by Froilan Gonzalez

Almost a trick question, 1947, Franco something...I think it was with the above mentioned 125 S. Italy?? Well, probably.

When Enzo started "Ferrari", he had an agreement w/Alfa to not use his name on
his cars, so it has nothing to do w/his fathers family biz.

Very good Nova. Yes, it was Franco Cortese in 1947 at the Rome Grand Prix behind the wheel of the 125 S.

I didn't know that. That's very interesting, had to do a bit of research on Google and found this: "Many cars produced by Ferrari have some odd names for their colors (i.e. Turchese Molvedo). What you might not know is that these color titles are named after famous race horses."

Thanks for this piece of trivia Nova.

    Thats a tough one..

Im going to say Shue was the driver of the 200th, but give me awhile..
Wait, Im gonna say Shue was the driver in the 100th, Massa the driver of the 200th.
The rest is too tough too remember. If I get the answer online I will state that I did cause Im not
    sure on these.

The 100th GP win for Ferrari was achieved by Alain Prost at the French GP in 1990 and the 200th GP win was achieved by Raikkonen at the Chinese GP in 2007.

Good question. Not sure about that, I know for sure what year Ferrari took it's last overall Le Mans win which was in 1965, but I'm not completely sure about the first one... I think it was 1949 (?)...
