Nope there wasn't any, atleast to the chassis, but-

    F1 show biz 2016 :
Toto - "Ferrari are a real threat" .... Nico - "Awesome, everything is just awesome" .....Lulu - "Mental strength man, lifestyle man, I'll drive at 400% as ever man".... and then suddenly a wild Bull out of nowhere slams into a Ferrari.

It was 1 year 10 months and 17 days since the last time we won in Spain 2013. It feels so amazing to win again and hear that beautiful Italian anthem in the podium ceremony. Simply FANTASTIC!

Lots of positives today! i thought we were in for a tough afternoon in the first few laps with Kimi having to pit early with a ruptured tire. Even then, he managed to get 4th and Seb won "fair and square" vs. the mighty Mercs! You can just feel how proud Vettel really is Being part of Ferrari!

With this win, I am sure the guys back at the factory would double their efforts to improve the car even further! A convincing win like today can be a great source of motivation and optimism for our guys.

Wow...just wow!!!! Never felt this way for a very long time! Congrats all around! Forza Ferrari!

They need to give him a contract for life, and keep him for the rest of his career. He is good. Adrian Newey is the best aero guy, but I do think that he sometimes get carried away and over do things. James Allison just produces all around good car, a very usable car.

Well that was the point isn't it? Vettel is not the next Schumi, nor does he needs to be, because he's just being Vettel a great driver in his own rights. Strange you would call him a troll when you said the same thing basically.

Siiiii ragazzi! Siii! Dai che ci siamo! Forza Ferrari! Great drive by Sebastian! Great to hear again the combination of the german and italian anthems. Brought back beautiful memories!

Great race! Flawless! Good thinking not to stop under the SC and then have the upper hand at the pit-stops. Great recovery by Kimi showing the potential of this car. The last laps were an eternity. Every corner was more difficult to me than to Sebastian. Everything could happen and these thoughts always come to head in such situations.

The difference to the Mercedes is around 0.5 from what I could feel and see in the race. But, what an incredible job by everyone. Here in Italy this is gonna bring a good vibe that will definitely help the team as well to be even stronger this season.

Happy to hear James Allison saying that the car has a good base which makes it much easier to upgrade efficiently. The feeling is that by beating the Mercedeces Ferrari has woken up the bear, which might me wrong. But definitely happy to see them behind our beautiful red Prancing Horse!

Mercedes were never under much pressure during the races last season, losing only when making mistakes. My hopes that we'd at least put them under pressure came to realisation today and we saw the result. We saw that as fast as it is, their car is not good on tyres, just like most probably it wasn't last year. But last year they had the leverage of pacing gradually, softly without burning more than permitted their tyres. Today we could see how they couldn't even come to a close distance to Seb. It's definitelly James Allison's imprint on this. But just like he said, it's the whole team behind this win.

Just like Michael once said, when asked by a journalist what he thinks about Fernando's annoyance when not receiving a competitive car, which is - "In Formula One, and especially at Ferrari, you win together and you lose together."

    Forza Ferrari!!!

Woke everyone in the house when seb took the flag. Oops
Interviewer: “The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you?”
    Kimi: “It protects my head.”

Agreed. It could easily have been a double podium. Whens the last time we had that?

Mighty surprised by our pace. How did we close the deficit of 1 sec in 2 weekends? Its clear Merc wasnt hiding anything, yet we were clearly faster. Amazing!!!

P.S- bit funny for SV to go saying he beat them "fair and square", seems to suggest he thinks danny didnt last year, and further more considering his 4 championships were not won "fair and square" he should hardly be screaming from roof tops about it. (sorry, but this is my anti-seb sentiments showing up )

Looks like we might afterall have a fight this season, and it wont be a boring merc 2 horse race.

Vettel: Today we were quicker, that's why we beat them (Mercedes). Things worked well and we made the most of it

It was an absolutely amazing drive from Seb, but let's not forget the great drive that Kimi did as well. It certainly wasn't easy coming from the back twice to still get the 4th place. Good job from Kimi and hopefully in the next races he will have better luck...no more Saubers around him would be nice lol.

with a tyre puncture on lap 2. Kimi would have been on the podium if he had done better at qualifying. Lets see how we do in China. Interesting season ahead.

The original poster stated Vettel is no Schumacher, I don't see why Schumacher reference was required at all. A quick 'Great drive from Vettel, fanatastic win would've have sufficed'. I didn't say the same thing as it depends on your interpretation.

'Vettel is no Schumacher' is interpreted by myself as unnecessary and putting Vettel down.

There is no need to reply as I am enjoying this win and don't want to argue about differences of interpretations.

Arrivabene and Seb have been a breath of fresh air. Just sorry 4 years of Felipe's time at Ferrari was spent in an environment that maybe wasn't as pleasant as it seems to be now.
    Forza Jules

It's interesting that both STRs finished ahead of both Red Bulls. It's not only that the Renault PU is underpowered, the RBR car isn't that great this year.

Also notable was the great pass that Bottas pulled off on Massa.
