There's one thing I can't get out of my head since yesterday. What did Kimi mean when he said this just before the safety car restart "We cannot even pass people because they are not even trying to catch the Serpico"? Serpico is a movie with Al Pacino about a cop that battles corruption. It's based on real events. So what did "Serpico" mean in this case? The safety car, the cue of cars he couldn't catch or something else?

The new boy Merhi on the Marussia was keeping a big distance from the cars ahead of him behind the Safety car.
    And Kimi was behind him.

I know the gap was big and I think it was Nasr who somehow didn't want to close the gap to the cue. But what did "Serpico" mean in this case? Anyone who's interested in this can find that exact moment at 01:15:35 on the BBC iPlayer race clip.

" Can I pass these people because they are not even trying to catch the safety car!?" That was what he said

No, he clearly says "Serpico" and not "Safety Car". Listen again if you have the means to do it. I know I'm pulling a stupid argument here but he said what he said and I'm interested in the meaning.

I've listened to it just now, at a loud volume and he 100%, without doubt says "Safety Car."

Just watched it again. And ,"Hell, can I pass this people because they are not even trying to catch the safety car!?" No Serpico there.. It might sound a bit like Serpico, but that wouldn't make any sense.

"Then I gained some positions and was catching people, but then I got a puncture at the last corner so I had to do the whole lap. Luckily we had a safety car so that helped.

"But then I don't know what the guys in front of me were doing because they were not going full speed to catch up so we were like one straight behind.

"I was asking if I could pass them but there was some confusion with the Sauber in front of me. That didn't help either.

"Obviously for the team it's a pretty good result. It could have been better but I think we did the maximum with what we had today."

Agreed, if he was referencing Al Pacino movies it would have only made sense to say "Bobby Deerfield".

Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.

If he was referencing to Al Pacino movies he would most likely have used "Say hello to my little friend!". Problem with that is that grown men do not have or need friends - we have buddies.

That would've definitely make some sense especially in this weekend Bobby Deerfield is know as "Taivas ei tunne suosikkeja" in Finland and that in English would be "Heaven has no favorites".

Thanks for posting Nero Horse! Nice to see a 10 for a Ferrari driver, and Seb totally deserved so

Arrivabene hails Raikkonen’s drive at Sepang

After two races in 2015, Ferrari is happy with its driver lineup as Sebastian Vettel powered to victory in Malaysia and Kimi Raikkonen stormed through the field to finish fourth.

Having struggled alongside Fernando Alonso last year, Raikkonen went into the last year of his current contract in 2015 admitting he is not sure if he will still be wearing red next season.

But so far, although Alonso’s successor Vettel has the upper hand after two podium appearances including a win, Raikkonen seems much happier with his new Ferrari.

The Finn was quick in Melbourne but ran into trouble in the race, and he had a similarly troubled Sunday in Malaysia but ultimately finished fourth.

Understandably, Ferrari boss Maurizio Arrivabene focused on the importance of Vettel’s breakthrough victory after the Malaysian grand prix.

But after speaking to reporters late on Sunday, the Italian remembered: “One more thing, and it’s important to me that you write it.

“Kimi has shown with his great comeback what a fabulous driver he is,” Arrivabene is quoted by Speed Week. “I cannot imagine a finer driving pairing.”

Quite justified, but I can't understand why Alonso got 6 and Button 5,5 :D
