Celebrating his win at the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday, he sprayed champagne straight into the face of one of the hostesses. But a leading group which campaigns against sexism has condemned Hamilton's 'selfish and inconsiderate' actions, saying he should be forced to apologise for 'specially directing' the bubbly into the woman's face. Others have called the driving ace an 'embarrassment to the UK', while another said his behaviour showed that he was an 'ignorant clown'. Roz Hardie, chief executive of Object, a campaign on media sexism and 'sex object culture', said it also highlighted the more general issue of women being viewed as sexual objects in the motoring world.

A whole other thing if they clearly are not ready for it and it is close and in their face. That is just clearly disrespectful.

But if i judge him equal to other people i would probably not be politically correct enough for you. Must have a different set of rules to allow him to do what ever he wants?

I'm not defending Ramilton, I'm just saying I think other drivers do it too. To be honest, it always makes me cringe a bit when I see anyone do that unless they know it is coming and are ok with it. Who knows. Might be part of the deal when they are up there.

To be honest, if the grid girls are feeling oppressed, they should be the ones being quoted in the articles; not some third party overly-extreme "left" wing journalists. Vettel does this very often and i dont see anything wrong with it, he is quite flirty with women even though he has a daughter now :)

Those girls know where they are going to and what might happen during celebration. Hamilton does annoying stuff enough, there is no need to make one up from nothing..
