Was Ricciardo the first man to pass the chequered flag in a broken down car?

The Australian's engine failed as he was heading towards the chequered flag, but while it did not cost him his sixth-place finish, it means he will have to use his fourth internal combustion engine at Barcelona.
In all the years i have watched F1, i can never remember an occassion were a car broke down on its way to the chequered flag, effectively a broken down car finished the race. The closest i have seen are cars run out of fuel just after the finish line and just before, but never a wrecked car (engine) finish. Did he make history for one of those pub quiz questions? Or did it happen before?

I remember Button doing it in the BAR-Honda* not even 10 years ago.

I'm pretty sure there have been more instances, including drivers pushing their cars over the finish line. Jack Brabham even won a championship that way, and who can forget Mansell passing out while pushing the Lotus?

    * Honda Racing F1 actually, BAT was just the sponsor at that point.

Poor Nige tried, but flopped like a dead fish.

Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.
