In absence of better news this is allegedly McLaren's new livery for Spain.

"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
The livery is terrible from the front. It's a poor design. If that enormous and poorly placed McLaren logo wasn't on the top of the nose, it would look fine. Look at it from the front, it looks like an enormously stepped nose instead of the beautiful one they actually have. Not to mention it looks almost entirely the same as the 2010 HRT livery (Spain onwards). Think they need a new livery designer...
Lol, this livery reminds of Minardi for some reason.

one good thing at least....i kind of like it when it's a wet weekend, especially in the past when Ferrari was not so good in performance...i.e last year when the F14T sucked
but this year we seem to be right up there in teh Merc's gearbox, and with the MAJOR AERO package coming here, having good dry weather is what is all about...to see EXACTLY where we stack up against those MERCS...
yey, i'm so excited for this weekend...probably because of the THREE weeks off we've had...
now common, let's get ONTO RACING....
Forza Ferrari and let's hope for SOME podiums from both our drivers and DARE i say even A WIN!!!!
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.
What's McLaren's story anyway, still no major sponsor... how much money can they be asking for??
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...
Gianlu D'Alessandro @Gianlu_DAle
Drivers can't change the livery of the helmets... But the teams yes, they can change the livery of the car.![]()
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
i just have a doubt, isit an hrt hispania from 2010season or some kind of tribute to the a-team van???
What happened to the tire choices? I thought it was going to be the softest compounds in Spain?
Edit: Jaajuu, those were 2014 tires on the OP.

Very blah livery on the McLaren which actually suits the car which is quite blah too!

There is a misconception. Its not T3 that takes most of the life from the tire, Its Turn 4. The tire already gets heated when it exits T3 and then having the retardation then the tight turn in then acceleration makes the tire to have severe punishment, this is where the Tire looses its life alot more.

In the end you are both correct - Barca is hard on the front tires. I think this will play hugely into our hands with our lower front roll center. Even without upgrades I think we would be even closer to Merc here. I'm sticking my neck out and picking a win for Seb and Kimi on the podium as well.
Might be so, but the front left should anyway be weakest link on this circuit and it might be our change to beat Mercedes. This far Mercedes has been better in aero corners and Spain should suit them better in that way. But if we can make the tire(s) last longer that's our change to get them.
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.
Rivola and two others have been dismissed. Unsure why at the moment.
On the eve of one of the biggest races of the season sporting director, a man close to Sebastian Vettel, Massimiliano Rivola was removed from his duties. They were suspended two other members of the team, the logistics manager and the cook.
ROME -Caos in Ferrari. On the eve of one of the biggest races of the season, sports director Massimo Rivola - man near Sebastian Vettel - did not show up in Barcelona and will not be on the pit wall. Unofficially in Ferrari they speak first of "a week's holiday" and then "a personal problem of Rivola", but what he learns "Republic" sports director has been suspended.
Still not clear the cause of a decision so sensational as traumatic for a room that had recently recovered his serenity. According to what has been possible to reconstruct, however, they would not be sporting reasons. Along with Rivola they were suspended two other members of the team, the logistics manager and the cook.
All three persons involved unexpectedly taken by Maurizio Arrivabene are therefore present in Barcelona, where Ferrari will be looking to get closer to the Mercedes.
Rivola - whose star was brilliant at the time of Fernando Alonso and Stefano Domenicali of which was personal friend and had instead a bit 'darkened with the arrival of Marco Mattiacci - was chosen as the point man on the team by Sebastian Vettel, with whom he had worked at the time of Toro Rosso. Arrived in Maranello, it was precisely the German to ask Arrivabene that Rivola was not moved and in fact took on even more central role in the team. Now the unexpected storm. The causes and effects of which are yet to be deciphered. "No comment" by the press office of the Ferrari.
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.
