well i'm sure Merc will have some sort of issues this season at least at ONE race, possibly more and with that in mind if they have couple of DNF"s, well there are 50 points right there...so you never know.
there are still 19 races left, so anything can happen....as this is Formula 1....stranger things have happened before many, many times.
How can anyone think it's too late... We have completed just 10% of the races, have 90% of the season left, and are very much in the hunt for both championships. Not only that, nobody else in the field, other than the Mercs, can match our speed!! Even with a few grid penalties it's still completely possible!! I seem to remember Hami running off the track at the pit entrance one, Kimi took the lead and won the WDC by one point..

Hey haas is using the same engine as ferrari and they r not having any problems.what the hell is going on this does not look good at all.the boss must be loosing it.he expected a victory to begin with and so on.hope this is not a sign of things to come with the absence of r brilliant leader ja. just a sad and bad situation for the team he's such a stable fixture at the track.
Had so much hope this season.I haven't given up but the way this sport is being run and this stupid thing there forcing the teams to run next year for head protection total against it.when raced rmax carting and they forced us to run the stupid bumper on the back that was it for me same with f1 crap crap crap if there are that worried then just put them all in simulators and we'll watch them do that.
As many have said before, it's better too be quick and fragile than to be slow and reliable. Rewind 1 year ago with the Renault powered teams having all sorts of dramas to the point of looking almost as hopeless as Honda's situation, Yet, Renault have nailed and put to bed their bugs and are really starting to turn things around with their engines. Ferrari are in a good spot and will get this beast howling on the right tracks under the right conditions, mark my word!
Many people say: Its better to be fast and unreliable then slow and reliable. That is only true if you have the fastest car and your unreliable. Our car is not the fastest so that saying isnt credible...
I expected more speed because of the development time we used from Haas.
Does anyone know if we have been running our pu at 100%?
Interviewer: “The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you?”
Kimi: “It protects my head.”

I love Grosjean tyre choice he is aiming for short stints but very aggressive race with Ferrari engine he can continue his good form.
Gotta love the knee jerk reaction of Williams to go from mostly mediums to mostly super softs. Like Force India, I think Williams is one of the disappointments of the season.
According to la gazetta dello sport, the issue on vettel's car in Bahrain would Have been due to HCCI system. Solution to it would be expecting by Spain or montecarlo.
For in detail follow la gazetta article on this issue.
Is that related to engine knock?

now that we know its a valve problem can they salavage the engine and use reliability tokens to get this engine running again.being down a engine so soon will put a huge strain on the remaining 4.would assumesome ware they will need a 6th engine when the penalty of 10 spots wont be so bad track wise.wow this is such a disadvantage, remember in testing mercedes saying they were going to run 4 hard during the season and use that 5th at a crucial time when the others would be cutting back the power alittle to make them last.man oh man this is not good!
1st for sure its not great to lose an engine inthe 2nd race.
But then the scenarios are more then 1.If we are keep being 1 clik behind Merc or even equal then it will be hard for the reasons you mention.
But IF we manage to make the improvement the team expect to make that could put us ahaid of them, then this will not cost us much.
The only sure thing is that it will be a LONG season!!
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
