Probably the morning 1, but you have to get there really early, at least an hour before gate opens, cause then you will be 1 of the 1st to get in and you can go straight to the Ferrari garage and stand where you want for as long as you want.
This is the 1st year they are doin a third pit lane walk, it is pretty late, from 6.30 to 7.30pm which im pretty sure means it will be dark. Im really not sure what that 1 will be like, maybe good because alot of the teams may do practise pit stops. i know in the past, Ferrari normally do their practise pit stops from about 4-5pm.
The morning and 2nd pit lane walks were always very busy. the 2nd 1 only goes for half an hour, so that might get abit crazy. For the 2nd and 3rd walks, Its a very good idea to get to the pit lane walk line very early, about an hour, or else you will struggle to get to the Ferrari garage.
Also, if you have a Gold Gp Advantage ticket, you can access the F1 Paddock club viewing deck on top of the pits. And if Ferrari or any other teams are doing pit stop practises, then this is a great spot to watch it.
Here is a youtube link to a video i did when i was there in 2011
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIv0DqVC7pE

At the moment, i will walk all the 3 pit lane walks, and in between the 2nd and 3rd walks, i will go up to the viewing deck incase Ferrari decide to do practise pit stops, but also because its a great view of the main straight there.

Dont mind anwering your questions so if you need to know more im happy to help.

    Cheers.
    Dom

    Ciao Ragazzi,

a few days ago i was asked by my boss if i would like to join him in a box above the pits, i am over the moon.. i have not been to the f1 for quite a few years.

    super excited!!!

i will be there on saturday, what are the things i must do while i am there? i dont want to stand around and drink booze like the others lol, i actually enjoy the f1 they more enjoy the atmosphere.. i will take my SLR with me for photos.

since i will have a corporate pass, are there any areas which are a must to go to, which i may be allowed to see/be?

    Grazie
    Riccardo

    WOW! Fantastic!
To be honest Riccardo, if you have a paddock pass, you wont need to go anywhere else!! You will have access to the best place on the track, where all the drivers and teams hang out, so you will see them all the time.
But, if you do want to get out abit, turns 9-10 is a nice spot to watch the cars.
Also, there will b a Ferrari parade, and the cars are parked all wkend near the Fangio and Webber grandstands. You can view them close up there. Theres a nice collection of Ferraris in the parade so you will enjoy that and get plenty of photos.
    Have fun!

Btw, if your willing to let me borrow ure paddock pass for a couple of hours, please let me know, ill give you my number and we can meet up!

In Palmerston North. I had plans to visit Melbourne race, but had to cancel last minute. Glad to meet a fellow tifosi from New Zealand here.
