I like to think we were sandbagging just like the Mercs and Force India were running on fumes or something doesn't add up.
Hamilton only improved 1/2 sec and was still slower than Vettel, so maybe not so much difference in SS vs Softs.

Yes, well I'll take P2, I love seeing us up there. Todays's a new day, track should be rubbered in more.
Mabey the Ferrari finally found a set of pirelli's compounds that will work.

Of course I'll not be satisfied with as high as 5th. Maybe you are with small thing but me no! I go for more! And for second... Hmmm... What is negative in just not fly high?! But than again you always have an answer I cannot wait to read it!

@Greig, about me being negative... As I said, I just didn't wanted/allowed my hopes to get high... justifiably!

What is justifiable about it? Quite a bit couldn't put an unhindered lap due to traffic. Vettel was 2 tenths faster yesterday compared to his FP3 time.

I know but right now I would trade F1 for the WEC and Le Mans immediatly !
I am still hoping for a Ferrari LMP1 Prototype some time in the future and teaming up with Joest would probably be the fastest way to achieve that.
( allthough I know that all that will stay a dream for obvious reasons ).
I can imagine our current GT drivers would love to drive a Ferrari LMP1 to have a shot at the Le Mans 24 Hours overall victory and the WEC World Championship ! Sadly they will never be able to do that in a Ferrari Prototype......

Because FI and Williams did their laps on softs and now are out on super sotfs. It's a slow time from Kimi, so it would be dangerous to stay in.

Ah i see. He gave up the lap on SS so he starts the race in Soft.

Kimi on Softs, mabey he will stick w/those as the SS's are degrading quite rapidly.
Can go deeper into the race b4 his 1st stop..

Seb and Mercs as well. Will be interesting to see, which strategy will be better. Ours with Mercedes or RedBull's
