Amazing drive by Max, it has to be said.
Seb needed one more lap to get Perez, but he left it too late.
DOTD: Max Verstappen, and nobody gonna complain this time.
MV with full wet setup duh, even a monkey can do this as we know how easy it is for 16-17 year old kids to do this.
2017 Will make things harder again and then we shall speak again.
Hero's come and go, but legends never die!
Happy to see Sauber getting their first points
If you compare Verstappen and Ricciardo in the same car, MV made DR look like average driver. We may not like him but in his age he is making the headlines.
Great drive by Max, Seb recovered pretty well and such a shame for Felipe.
Nico lucky to escape with 2nd and it will probably be his title now...shame.

I really dislike Max but he was exceptional today...
Nice to see I wasn't the only one who had something in his eye when Felipe walked back to the pits.
Disappointed Since 2010
max drove well,so not taking anything away from him...but dont forget about seb... coming from the back after his spin (i wouldnt say our car is quite that good in the wet, point proven when kimi spun too) and i saw the car's rear stepping out quite a lot of time compared to other cars, and inspite of that seb came back to sixth until max pitted, he overtook enough cars very well, infact i think max and vettel were pretty much the only drivers(and ricciardo too) who did the majority of overtaking.. but sadly the commentators didnt give much credit to him...he did quite well and our forum members are too disregarding it, very sad state of affairs from the fans, as for redbull they have the best chassiss and on fresh tyres with that chassiss both ric and max made up quite a lot of places. but max was ballsy he surely drove better than ricciardo,... if vettel too had fresh tyres the outcome would have been different, lets not forget max and ric pitted under safety car..and were not too far.. vettel didnt even get a proper pit stop.
F1 is getting so boring to watch with the Mercedes dominance.
Yes very lucky, considering he is a rubbish driver in the wet.
But i think he might just lose the title. In a sense, LH has nothing to lose and is a 3 time champ. NR prbly sees this as his only and best chance and more likely to make that fatal mistake.
I do hope NR wins it though.

Have said it before and will say it again, Max is the driver of the future. What an incredible drive in the wet. Inspiring and amazing to watch!!
The RBR is good, but not that good and not that much better than the Ferrari.
We should be doing everything to get someone like that (or max himself) on board. Our strategy to keep one lead driver and one to pick up the scarps is not working anymore. We need to have two strong drivers and let them fight it out. RBR is managing that, why cant we? Put someone like Max with Vettel, and you will automatically see SV lift his own game, instead of moaning on the radio all the time.
Will be better for the team too.
I just wish the RBR is a match for the merc next season, just so we can watch max take it to Hamilton.
Silently, like a shadow
Well, Seb did the best he could. Those old tires took its tool on the battle against Max who was on fresher tires. Max had an awesome performance that really made Ricciardo to look like an average driver. Pity for Kimi. Even bigger pity for Massa. Rosberg was being extremely careful here and still he almost lost it.
Ocon race was fantastic.2 or 3 seconds per lap faster than wherlein!
The 2014 f3 generation is coming and quickly.
Verstappen versus Ocon will be entertaining for sure !
Maurizio Arrivabene: “Maybe we could have achieved more, both yesterday and today, but no room for complaining now. Kimi’s accident was a shame, while Seb had a great comeback after spinning off track. Now let’s focus onto Abu Dhabi: it’s the last race of the season but, as we always say, we’re not giving up till the end.”
Kimi Raikkonen: “The conditions today were not the easiest ones: it was very tricky, and when you do many laps behind the Safety Car it gets even more difficult. It was not raining heavily, but there was a lot of standing water. The biggest problem was the aquaplaning and I got it in a place where I was not expecting it: I spun off on the straight! I almost got the car back, but then I went off in a pretty bad place. The Wet tires are very vulnerable, easy to aquaplaning. It obviously depends on the circuit and on many other things, but comparing to some years ago, those tires could handle this kind of water with no issues of aquaplaning.”
Sebastian Vettel: “Obviously, today it was not ideal: in the first part of the race I span, I had some aquaplaning but I wasn’t the only one. I think it was a good recovering in the end, it was difficult to come back, and I struggled to get past Sainz: I don’t know why it took me a lot of laps before I really started to feel well in the car, and then it was too late. About the duel with Verstappen, I think I was racing side by side to him and he saw me. I still had a little bit of my nose ahead, he was much faster so it was about making the corner and he got past. Not a difficult passing manoeuver, but I don’t think it was fully correct. But I wouldn’t complain about anything today: I think I was not the only one who got caught out by the aquaplaning, but luckily I didn’t crash.”
