Trying to be less angry..
Remember the times that there was a seperate thread for each of the practice and qualifying sessions. Now look at this. What a shame.
Disappointing; 2009 to 2016...
yeah it's a shame, NO???? now we can combine FP, quali, and race all in one Tread....and we'd be lucky if all together come up with 10 pages of debate....oh well let's hope that Ferrari will give us something GOOD to talk about come next year when they will come up with a championship winning car.
There's only so much anyone can add to the trials and tribulations we've suffered this year. so maybe it's better to keep quiet until something really promising actually happens! Like a front row start, but it doesn't look very likely after FP1.![]()
yeah i hear ya....i know it's ONLY friday, and usually things tend to improve going into the weekend, but those Mercs are in their own world like they;ve been all year, and for half a year or so the Bulls have been the second fastest team and there we are, more then one second behind....and hopefully THIRD best team still.....
oh well, at least this misery of a season will finallly be over and we get to chill over the winter and hope Ferrari will come with something quick over the winter, a front row lock-up like you said, but in 2017
Gearbox failure again now for Vettel

CAVALLINO RAMPANTE PER SEMPRE
Kimi Raikkonen: “Today we had a very normal Friday practice, trying different things. The car was working pretty fine: it’s just that I could not put a decent lap together, but overall it was a “basic” day. We had some tire graining, but this is very normal on the first day on track and it was not a big issue, as it’s going to change for the race. Now we just have to work here and there and we should be ok.”
Sebastian Vettel: “I am fairly happy with the day. Obviously, it is not ideal to have a gearbox issue on Friday, but I am not worried and it shouldn’t have any impact on the weekend. In general it was a very good Friday. This afternoon P1 was somewhat tricky, as we struggled a bit on the hot track. But during P2 in the evening things calmed down, the car also calmed down, it was quite good and I was happy. In the long run I struggled a bit with the front end, maybe I was a bit too aggressive, but overall the car felt good. To be honest, I think we should have a good pace. Hopefully tomorrow we have a similar feeling in Quali and put the car where it belongs.”

Unfortunately this year I am not there, as it was the case in previous two years.
Great pictures Rob, thank you. Beside, what is most important, to make competitive car next year, I am praying so hard to get rid of that HIDEOUS white!!!!
The last P3- session of the year is for us![]()
2nd and 3rd in Q1 not bad
Mighty lap by Kimi in Q2
Kimi and Seb so close to 3rd, Ricciardo just stole it. 4th and 5th isnt that bad.
Raikkonen outqualifies Vettel again (11-10), great job.
It's a sad state of affairs when there appears to be so little interest in this thread, I know it's the last race of a pretty disappointing season but where are all our fellow tifosi? We've taken enough knocks this year to be able to cope with one last attempt at a podium, P4/5 isn't ideal but let's hope we can finish on a high point.![]()
True wisepie. But i understand people are upset. We are well ahead of the 4th team so our fight is only with Mercs and RBR and its a fight we lose most of the time. Furthermore this "no weekend without a problem" thing is the most demoralizing of all. I still watch, I still cheer but i try to lower expectations and accept that probably one of our guys will not finish the race for whatever reason
