Perhaps Ferrari gambled on a dry setup for tomorrow. And that could be a huge advantage. I am not sure teams are allowed to change setup tomorrow if they get their cars back from parc ferme..

I thought we were the ones with higher aero efficiency and Merc were the ones with the higher engine power.

And why didn't Bottas try enough times? I don't understand...

Ferrari vet was promising in q1 n Q2.
How can he suddenly drop off. I can't believe it.
Surely they were planning for tmrws race as
    1) everybody starts their race on unknown tyres
    2) overtaking is possible

This is what I said earlier on this thread , sacrifice pole position for tmrws race. It doesn't effect.

This is going to be a boring race up at the front.

The middle pack is where the action is....

Sorry, my oversight, make that Vettel 4th because Bottas is showing a time that should put him in SECOND...and this is directly from the F1 timing board. Again, what the hell is going on here??

So according to you Schumacher's record = Bridgestone tyres and Rory byrne. Vettel's record = blown diffuser and Adrian Newey.

    Don't be ridiculous.

    Horrible strategists as always.
First about old engine, then about when they are puting which tyres! They are not able to make quick and effective decision!
As I remember in all past 20 yrs we have never been able for one extra run in very important moments!
What is wrong with these guys....past 2 weeks-from one to another mistake.
It's all over....for both titles unless Mercedes get double DNF!

He wasnt exaclty putting on great show. Kimi is ahead and he is anything but rain specialist. Look at Bot/Ham difference. With Ham we would be on pole no doubt.

2-3....MAYBE...the start is scary with alot of unknowns including weather. If Vettel jumps the start and takes out several, he will knock out the others during the race. Kimi,

    I hope, follows suit.

Hamilton won this race and will run away with it.

Another over dramatic post. Ferrari/Vettel still in the WDC hunt. One bad qualy doesn't change anything.

    from twitter

Vettel: I don't know what the problem was. I was surprised by how quick the others went, we couldn't match them.
Vettel: There are a couple of things we will look into. Something didn't work.

Lewis on more DF so will be missing straight line speed compared to Ferrari.
    Diff between SS n S = .5-.8sec
