Who gives a #$"%&/$%. He is not Ferrari driver any more and he is having his dream come thru driving for his beloved McLaren!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simply put no.
Alonso would have lost the championship in this car long ago.
First of all, Alonso wouldn't have won Australia because that Vettel put in great qualifying lap to be just ahead of Bottas and that helped in the race, Alonso would have lined up behind Bottas and would have finished 10-15s second behind Hamilton at the line.
Bahrain - Alonso might have won that race.
Monaco - Alonso would have qualified behind Bottas and might have ended up P4 or P5.
Singapore - Alonso would be P3.
Mexico - Alonso would be P3 or P4.
It's so funny to see that a few people think Alonso would have won the title in SF70H, reality is he would have lost it long ago and not even come close to Vettel's point tally.
That comparison sounds more like comparing Seb to Lewis! Not even close is the word!
LOL no he couldnt
hockenheim 2018 / China 2018 : Never forget how quick Ferrari can lose it all, be humble.
Positivity doesn't win you championships, whining about people being negative makes you blind!
lol ignore the bitter old cows ;-)
Well the one thing we can be sure of... if Alonso didn't win it this year.. it would all be Ferrari's fault. Seems the Alonso fans are like Alonso.. when he wins it's because of his great skill, when he loses it's because the car sucks. I thought Vettel outperformed the car this year and gave us a season with some hope. There were just too many tracks where the Mercs were too strong.
I believe Alonso also outperformed the bomb he had this year. I believe if anyone gave us Ferrari fans some hope it was Kimi. Take away Merc who were too strong for Seb and anyone else, and #2 driver for Seb Kimi was the best with 4th.
No he wouldn't have won it. If an incident like the one in Singapore had happened to Alonso he would have detonated and started his politics against kimi and the team. The man is toxic when things don't go his way.
Team bosses voted top 10 drivers. Surprised to see Ocon ahead of Alonso. Personally, I thought Alonso drove the heck outta that car. No love for Bottas.

Lewis 1st, ok. Leclerc 2nd!
Except for Ocon, who was still beaten by Perez(probably they were impressed because they did not rate him high before) the top 7 guys are pretty accurate. Dont know about the order though

There should be a top 10 vote for the cars used in 2017 . Then we fans can decide along with the drivers who was the main man, and the main car.
I so agree. Ham was Ron Dennis' golden boy.
Think when Ham & Jenson were team mates..............Martin Whitmarsh was team boss but on the occasions when Ron was present at the grand prix Lewis was the dominant driver. When Ron was absent Jenson beat him.
In our house we had bets on who would come out in front.
