Don't believe that , they are far from formula one top level technology.
The formula one power unit is so complex , no major automotive company could bridge the gap now if they decide to compete right now .
Look Honda , the largest combustion engine manufacturer in the world ..

Yep, Honda came in at 2015 WITH NO HELP and dealing with Mclaren plus the token system. After being humiliated for 3yrs and going thru hundreds of PU's, they seem to be on the right path for 2018 with STR.

so either our new floor and parts didnt show any gains or ferrari not going to bother with it in fp2 because of the weather (rumor)

Kimi had the new bargeboards and floor, seb had the old and i think seb ended up slightly quicker

dont be so F1 blinded. LMP1 hybrids are just as complex than F1 cars. Audi R18 Porsche 919 were 4 wheel drive, had recovery systems on front and rear axles. The first R18 was flywheel hybrid system, that was way more complex than little F1 car system. But, really likes like comparing Green apples vs Red apples.

I am sorry, but I do not see what the problem is unless I'm missing something. He slowed down and maintained speed once he saw there was a red flag. I am seriously considering boycotting my home grand prix...
