I am sure that congratulations are in order, and I am also sure that he has stated in the past that having a family does affect your outlook on the dangers of the sport, but given his recent driving skills, it must have affected his judgement too!

    Hybrid is different....
Yes, from wiki: Ferrari also claims that the car has lapped its Fiorano Test Circuit in 1:19.70 which is faster than any other road-legal car Ferrari has ever produced.

I guess that is because of that 120 kWh electric engine.

I didn't know where else to post this, so i thought this post should suffice.

Bottas to start at the back of the grid in Abu Dhabi.

Just hope our boys will be well behaved and look to get the best results for us. Hopefully max tangles with lewis and Leclerc gets the 3rd spot in the drivers championship

In next years F2, 5 out of 20 drivers will be from Ferrari's drivers academy. Schumacher and Schwartzman to Prema, Armstrong to ART, Iliot is going to Virtuosi and Alesi to HWT.

I have big hopes for Schwartzman, hopefully he will be as impressive as Leclerc was. Good luck to Armstrong as well.

It will be big test for Mich Schumacher next season, first of all he will have a proper teammate, and he hasn't been impressive in this year's F2.

What are the probabilities Lec can claim 3rd in WDC ?? Max needs a DNF ?
If max doesn’t have DNF, I see him top3 finish. Or at max 4th.
Lec needs P1 at any cost.

Turrini also reports changes at Ferrari:

    • Alessandro Cinelli is no longer responsible for aerodynamic performance.

    • Giacomo Tortora is no longer responsible for the vehicle area (including the relationship with the tyres)

Looks like Giacomo Tortora (was head of simulator at Ferrari) has finished his gardening leave and got an offer from Mercedes. Mercedes getting once again someone who previously worked at Ferrari.

Signing someone responsible for how we work tyres seems like a really bad move

We need better strategists. A lot of success in the MSC era were due to great driver + brilliant strategies from Ross Brawn & co. A dominant car & driver will only do half the job, you need race winning strategies as well.

Louis off the line jumped past Seb last race like Seb was in neutral. The driver not strategy was the only hope in preventing that. The rest of the race was set there.

Binotto about the 2020 car to Sky Italy: "The car for next year is well underway. The structural part is now defined. Our 2020 engine is on the test bench doing reliability tests."

Binotto: "Adding downforce means we may risk losing the advantage in terms of speed. In the end you will need to find the right balance."

Binotto about LEC/VET for 2020: "Both start with the ambition to win the championship. We will take this into account and in a very transparent way we will talk about it with them when the time comes. I expect a different situation at the start of the season than this year"

Contracts mean nothing mate....kimi had a contract for 2010 and Ferrari gave him the boot and brought Alonso in....so yeah they mean absolutely nothing
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Sure, but it’s not like they have a great alternative available.

Sure they do, the other German....the Hulk, he’s got no drive for next year
He’d be a lot cheaper and a great #2 to Charles

You never know mate, he’s never been in a competitive car.....maybe he could surprise us all...but we’ll never know

It burns me that Stroller is still in F1 due to daddy’s pocket book only, and a much better driver like the Hulk has no drive for next season

I agree. Stroll is nowhere near Hulk as far as talent goes, he just has the right connections and money.

I’ll tell u other thing. When he doesn’t perform again the same discussion will happen. Why hulk will go for another one.
Such has been in the forum.
I still believe we have two strong drivers next season too, get the strong car & give it to them.
If any of them doesn’t deliver title either WDC or WCC they can move accordingly.

The problem is that Vettel has being mentally busted the last few years. His confidence must be rock bottom.
DOn't think they'd be getting Hulk on the basis he was faster but as a No2

Exactly what I just said....Hulk would be the perfect #2 to Charles
