FIA is sending out a new Technical Directive after Red Bull asked for clarification on a possible fuel flow measurement loophole. Looks like this is aimed at the Ferrari power secret.

    Amus

Bloody RB, we should also ask for clarification how they are getting much speed on corners.

    I’m quite surprised by RB,
When mercs were dominating they never asked for clarification or questioned. But when it’s ferrari they always come out of nowhere.

There’s a lot going against ferrari ....!! Mercs, Renault, RB-Honda are closely watching ferrari quali performance at this race. According to them this should give clarity to the teams.

It is not a surprised at all, it’s a total disgrace to me.

This is really bad to the sport. When Ferrari dominating quali or found a loop hole to lead the quali terms. Every opponent team is coming out and asking for clarifications. But when it’s mercs from 2014-2018 these teams never pointed out at them.

RB, such a bulls*** team in F1. They always cry on Ferrari.

The #AMuS article also suggest that Red Bull and Mercedes are ****** at Ferrari for voting for the 2021 rules which is why they are doing this.

About the Ferrari power unit: Ted Kravitz reported that both Mattia Binotto and Jock Clear confidently said that the other teams should go on and come at them and have an official protest. They said Ferrari have nothing to hide and that their engine is not illegal.

Track evolution is massive. Whoever is running last in Q3 might have a fairly big advantage.

When the surface dictates results we have big problems it's a lottery.

Leclerc's flying in sector 1, but needs to improve in sector 2. Lost 2 tenths to Hamilton in that sector.

Ferrari out again on new sets of medium tyres

We have not enough pace for pole today. Lewis from Max incoming. Hope our car is setup for the race.

Why switch a more strategic option for the usual soft start strategy again mmm.

Umm...you are talking about Albon? Because Lec, Vet, Ham, Bot, Max all them will start the race on mediums.

We have to do something different in terms of strategy because on the medium tyre we are struggling a little bit in terms of pace and and if you remember last year when he was on the stick your softer tyres and that helped him during the start of the race which secured the race and victory in Austin last year but I think it's okay. We should have split strategies one driver with medium and one driver with soft

I'd say Ferrari's pitwall doing pretty well with track positioning, Both Vet and Lec have clear track ahead

Again Leclerc is losing quite a bit of time in sector 2.

Bottas: 36.718, Vettel: 36.765, Leclerc: 36.997. He needs to match Vettel in sector 2.

Leclerc's old engine probably cost us pole today.

That being said, if Vettel takes the start like Kimi did last year, anything is possible. Clean side seemingly doesn't matter that much there nowadays that the track is used so much.

As for the S2 speed, it's still twisty with hairpins and stuff. Brazil and Abu Dhabi are where we're supposed to shine.

Good effort from both Vettel and Leclerc. Should be an entertaining race tomorrow.

Old, less powerfull engine in the car Charles is driving. Seb was close... Didn't put together the ideal lap. His sectors combined are faster, than Bottases.
