I really don't understand why are people talking about RB as a victim?! He, and before him EI and after FM, ware all brought to the team as CLEAR No 2 driver! Clear as a Sunny day! What do you expect? You have MS WDC, super star, best of the best, and that his team mate will have same treatment??!??!? You must be delusional!

This is sort of akin to Lewis's W11 and all their past variants....."Lewis, most of the time, has had a huge lead during the race....." "I don't see anything special with that!!"

It's because of the car and the team behind it. Sure, the driver counts as well.
Alonso-Baku ?? Bringing that car into pits on 3 tyres & driving like a hell Making into points.... is called something mega.
Ham, he had good lead in that 1st position. He can come out that car to do a track walk & still drive to home with 1st position.

Winning on 3 tires when you only have less than half a lap to go is not a special event. If he had to stop and change that tire or push the car over the line then sure... that would be newsworthy. I think that one race where Vettel 's car stalled and he had the wherewithal to get out of his seat and press the neutral button on the nose of the car is is more of a feat than what Hamilto did.

3 tires or 4 tires no big deal. The fact that Lewis won another race is the big deal even without the car helping him at the last few feet to go. Every F-1 fan is counting the wins. Max can only do so much!

What was cruel was the race where Michael almost tried vehicular homicide pushing Rubens into a concrete wall. No apology, that's racing! Every sports writer and former driver except Ross condemned the driving. But Rubens said he didn't want to die that way but is fine now and happy to have been a Ferrari driver, even #2 spot. I'm more mad than him!

Williams Racing has been acquired by Dorilton Capital, a private investment firm headquartered in the United States.

Claire is a great business women for sure ! F-1 without Williams would not be the same. I only hope Ferrari don't trade places with them any time soon !

Claire retains her role in the team BUT is no longer a partner in the team.

Sir Frank Williams ended his role as team owner at the SpanishGP 2020.....where he started the F1 team in 1969.....51 years later.....ironic.

OK; Claire is no longer a partner in the team except for the pay she will get. I have nothing but admiration for her!

Doubt his son will be too happy.

Don't know if you watched the Williams documentary, but it was clear his son was not happy that he was side-stepped and put in a minor role while his sister made leader of the team.

Williams is a case of too many bridges burned. All the star drivers they dumped after winning titles and then they blew Newey, Honda, Renault and BMW. In the end any team that does not construct its own engines will be at a perennial disadvantage in modern day F1. They've not managed to become the "main supplier" of a single manufacturer ever since 2005 and thus the decline was inevitable.

I have to believe Claire showed she was the one to be in charge. OK she ran the team like a business more than a F-1 race team out to WCC. No one is in line to beat Merc anyway, better think about the $$ aspect . The politics are also harder to deal with than Lewis up front !

Thing about the impact the likelihood of the 2021 f1 season again under covit restrictions. This would spell disaster for a sport currently under all sorts of pressure tie this in with the engine debacles and a runaway mercedes and a governing body who does not know right from wrong and is swimming in a pool of controvesy we potentially could see the demise of f1.There is a lot in play know the time for making mistakes at all levels of the sport and treating it with contempt are well and truly over. The governing body must take charge and govern and not be like influenced by any body or any organisation other wise the end is near.RIP f1.

Another Merc walkover next year would be disastrous. Maybe that's why the FIA has decided to reign in all the PU's. Only thing that will save F1......... New age of Ferrari domination. Not different winners every race. We need Ferrari to be 1 & 2 all races and that would bring back the mass of viewers that have left this sport. Why? Because all the discouraged Ferrari fans would return and best of all... multitudes of Ferrari haters would return. The forums would light up, Ferrari International Assistance would come back, conspiracy theories,... it will be beautiful.

Legitimizing all cars for qualifying seems to be the main answer to other than Merc owning pole and then getting up front and staying there. We fans all know there's more than one driver capable of getting on pole if all is legit car wise. I believe a Ferrari on pole ASAP will get them a few wins way before Binotto's two year prediction !! Charles got what it takes to bring the car home !!!

Wonder if Pirelli will mess up the tire choice for Turkey. That triple apex left-hander is gonna out a hurtin' on those tires. A lot less DF on the cars back in 2011 than today...

It seems a bit late in the year to be racing at Imola, and Germany in mid-Oct sounds a bit ambitious, the tyres will never work!!

Looks like Lawrence Stroll signed a few cheque’s, or Wolff made a few calls. What a joke. Why waste your time and resources only to pull out?

That's what I think happened re: Wolff.
