    Silverstone Race thread

Only 1 and half hour to go. Looking at Leclerc's onboard in qualy our car looks very stable and easy to drive, also noticed how low our rake is. Following on the Merc philosophy. Hoping for a good results. Leclerc to beat Max

    Sebastian Vettel:

We have to be open minded. We're starting 10th, we're not expecting miracles & finishing on the podium. I think ideally make up a couple of places, race people around me and come out in front of them.
So a point or two is the target.

I’m not expecting much from him. It’s better if ferrari sends him off on a good note.
He’s been playing with media too much these days. Don’t know what wrong with him.
One thing is for sure, he isn’t comfortable with the current car & his weekend was bad, so it might go worse too. If he’s in the points then that’s a surprise else nothing much.

I wonder if the FIA will make the drivers wash Hamilton’s feet at Silverstone today. After all, he’s not happy with kneeling. Maybe they should just save the tires and fuel and give him the trophy before the race starts. Send everyone home and spare us another bore fest. “My tires are gone, my engine is making a noise, by back is hurting” - all while smashing lap records.

Joking aside, I hope our set up will give Leclerc a chance at some decent points today.

Charles said they have less downforce on their car which will probably be not so good for the tyre management. He doesn't expect a miracle / a podium position. But he will try his best.

Hopefully Hamilton wins, I know it is not easy for him to win, that mighty Bottas or super fast Red Bull is his real enemies.
Bottas always fights so Lewis has to drive maximum limits.

Forza Ferrari and please a Merc crash or DNF. Could do with Max doing a banzai start and taking a wheel off Hammy.

Go Charles and please don't spin Seb mate!

Stroll lost places already on the 1st lap.

    He's P8 now.

it IS exciting to them, you can hear it in their voices, they love it. The bigger the domination the better to them.
