Would be tough for Vettel to hold position with 2 laps remaining.

So then, what's the point of pitting him for softs 2nd stint and expecting him doing 1 stop ? He had already asked them about the strategy but they completely ignored him

Seb P7....well done on those tires.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Because there was a chance of rain and soft was holding up quite well. And it's not like Ferrari were the only one to put him on softs, Mclaren did the same with both of their drivers, so did Renault with Ocon and Haas with Magnussen

On top of his extreme slow performances, Bottas also had the audacity to ask for 2 years contract.

Butler is wasting that Mercedes seat. It's quite infuriating tbh. Even Rubens was more of a challenge to Michael.

To spice up the show, F1 needs Max in that second Mercedes.

My thoughts too... Max or Lec against Ham. We can imagine Lewis frustration

Both Mclaren did 2 stops at the end. Ocon and Haas completely out of the points. The problem is not 1 stop or 2 stop, it's the team when Seb asked should he push (and pit again) or not (1 stop) but they IGNORED him

When there was no engine freeze, unlimited private testing and capable people leading the teams. Dude. How delusional are you? Are you really comparing the two eras? Ferrari has the market cornered on incompetence at the moment. They can’t figure out how to correlate wind tunnel data with the real world FOR OVER TEN YEARS!

Your feeble attempts and defending the teams utter failures are hysterical.

Nah...Mercedes can have Max. There's no way in hell I would want Charles to end up at Mercedes.

So Sbinotto threatened to leave Ferrari in 2018 if they kept Arrivabene as the TP and in less than 2 years he's brought Ferrari to this, with another 2 years of struggle ahead at least, cheating with the engine without a plan B and accepting something FIA couldn't prove.

    Bravo! Bravo!

Crap chassis, weak engine, problems with reliability, dumb tactics, slow as pit crew. Absolute mediocrity.

What is left is only the name. Happy Seb is getting his out of this mess and poor Charles for having to endure ahead this italian mediocrity.

I'm glad Vettel manage to held on to P7 and salvage something, in what was otherwise a rather dark day for us.

Wish I could say Charles issue was a surprise, but we've already had few reliability issues in FP this season.
And I'm not even sure what's happening at our pit wall.

We have a huge mountain to climb ahead of us. As always, we can only hope we'll comeback in good shape come 2022

That's the scary part. Sure, Vettel is leaving and a new driver is coming, but the problem is not the drivers, it's the TEAM. We certainly look like one of the worst teams out there at the moment, and I'm not talking about the performance of the car, I'm talking about the skill, ability and mentality of the team. I mean look at the Red Bull and Merc teams respond to tough situations in a matter of a week or two. We can't respond, we can't plan, we can't strategise, we can't develop, and we need a season or two and some rule changes to have a hope of turning things around. It's quite frustrating.
