merc will probably pull out in a couple of years especially if they think they won't be able to dominate anymore.

Well, by the looks of things, that won't be happening in a few years time.

Considering the windy condition and cold track temperature, race pace was pretty good. Charles probably gave up chasing Max, considering he did personal best lap at the end.

Very good from LeClerc. Chassis is good, if they could just put the engine in that they probably have already they could be right in the mix, it's got to be worth half a second a lap over a race.

7 tenths per lap according to Binotto.

Sad to see Michael's record go. For a long time I hoped this moment will never come, at least not for a few more decades. It came too soon, but it is what it is.

Another great performance by Charles. Shame he isn't in equal machinery as he would wipe the floor with Lewis. Hopefully we will be closer next year, with a more competitive team mate in Sainz. Don't really care much for Lewis "The Victim" Hamilton. Never won a WDC with an inferior car.

That said, well done to Lewis - an exceptionally talented racer. Very few people across all of life's endeavours get to rewrite history. Truly, well done to him.

Charles was the only midfielder who didn't get lapped.

It can seem to be so, but
when Vettel did beat Webber year after year, many thought that Seb is maybe best driver in history, now we know, that he is not
it is same now with Lewis, only one difference, he did lose to his team mate one year

According to the books and stats....yes. IMO, it's the car and the token system and engine freezes that gave Mercedes dominance.

The playing field was'nt even in this turbo hybrid era. Very few people will know this.

Ricciardo beat Seb in 2014 when they were team-mates...by alot of points.

Ricciardo and Leclerc are the only team-mates that have shown Seb's weakness.

yes, my point was that Lewis looks like he has done something special, when this Mercs dominance era has been actually only 2 cars races, and only one to need to beat is team mate

Yes as simple as that. Ham never been exposed to such team mates as vettel has.

Example : Imagine ric & Lec along side Hamilton, what would have been Outcome.

Yes I know all of that. Still, Lewis is an exceptionally talented driver, as I said.

    Rosberg beaten him.
Then as all we know Merc wanted No.1 & No.2 drivers not Two No.1 drivers. This protected Lewis.
Toto who always say they can race each other, but always favours No.1 Lewis begins closed doors. That’s one of the reason Rosberg left & thinks probably he would not get another chance against Lewis . Left with some pride.

When talent meets right car.... this is what you have. Records are written.
But it’s the other way around for Legendary drivers..... they made the car working if still it’s not the best of the field & won titles.

I'm very happy for Pierre Gasly. Albon is on his way out.
