Let's start...
Looks to be wet Sunday.
Times have changed due to funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh. Check your local listings. Saturdays sessions are 1 hour earlier. Fridays are moved back 30min.

Ferrari is bringing a small aero upgrade to Imola. The engineers want to test detailed changes to the wings and the floor on Friday during free practice.
Ferrari also has new parts, but these will not be used in the race until Portimão!
Ferrari about the struggles in the second half of the Bahrain race:
"It's not the tyres. It is possible that the SF21 reacts more strongly to wind changes than the others. Another finding of the engineers: There is still room for improvement in medium-fast and fast corners."
According to Ferrari, they are now in second or third place in the engine power ranking.
Not much is missing from the engine leader Mercedes.
Ferrari confirmed to Micheal Schmidt our preview.
According our data: gap on Mercedes/ Honda (they are quite similar) now is ~15hp.
Will be possible to reduce to 10hp in some conditions.
Recovery was clearly over 40hp
It's not how start but how you finish.
Interesting, although it didn't seem like just 15bhp
This will probably be a 1 pit race. Ferrari better be ready!!!
Looking forward to this weekend. Hopefully Ferrari can improve on their results in the first race.
Sainz P1.. Nice to see
What's up with Leclerc ?? No time set
What happened to Leclerc?
What is happening to Lec?
Seems Charles was about to go out as Sergio caused a red-flag. But Carlos p1 again, not that the times are relevant at this point.
Sainz looks great…
Sainz P1 ...
can we also have that on Sunday please?
Marc Gene has reported said that Charles Leclerc's running has been hampered by a problem (unsure if it's PU related) but he was on track before the RED FLAG.
It's not how start but how you finish.
Charles P2....behind Lewis.
It's not how start but how you finish.
Ferrari leclerk-sainz looks fast …
I think we look alright, relatively speaking

It's quite early but I'm happy with what I'm seeing so far. I don't think we are going to be on the same ballpark as the Merc/Red Bull, but we can be comfortably quicker than the rest of the midfield. Also Charles had few reliability problems but he ended up in P4. And we all know that he always finds that extra in Q3. Exciting times are ahead.
Slowly slowly no doubt that ferrari have done a good job with this year's car considering how far back it was.The cars look fast and can mix it with merc and red bull. How good would a podium be this weekend.? It would certainly say ferrari are back.
A very very good friday for us !!!!
| BEST SECTOR TIMES
@ScuderiaFerrari fastest when counting the fastest sectors, despite the fact @redbullracing didn’t get significant laps in.
Top 4 very close today but tomorrow Merc and Honda should be faster. Ferrari think a second row start is possible

FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Is Ferrari a candidate for pole position?
Officially, Valtteri Bottas set the fastest lap of the day with 1.15.551 minutes. One was even faster. However, Leclerc's best time of 1.15.367 minutes was canceled because the Ferrari driver had drifted beyond the lane with all four wheels at the exit of the Piratella curve. "Only a few centimeters", apologized the Monegasse.
In fact, on this particular lap in Piratella, Leclerc made up five km / h on Hamilton. Plus three tenths on the straight. Ferrari mainly won in the uphill passages in a Mercedes. This is an indication of more engine power.
Either way: Ferrari is better sorted at the home game than in Bahrain. Already in the first training session, only 0.232 seconds were missing from the best time. In the afternoon it was 0.283 seconds. This time with Carlos Sainz at the wheel. On Leclerc's best lap, the tires were already four laps old. So you have to count on Ferrari for one lap. However, the pole position would be a big surprise.
Ferrari tested the modified underbody on both cars and a new rear wing on Leclerc's SF21. It wasn't just the upgrades that made the red cars take another step forward. Like Mercedes, Ferrari also benefited from the cool weather and the less aggressive tarmac compared to Bahrain. "That reduces the risk of the rear tires getting too hot," confirmed team boss Mattia Binotto.

FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
it is obvious that Mercedes reduced engine power
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Let's wait until Q3.
But the signs are positive
Leclerc was rapid in both sector 2 and 3 throughout the practice 1 and 2. The car looked very good. As it was evident in Bahrain, we have a car that is very good in corners. It's still not the best in corners, but it's pretty close.
Them track limits are gonna cause mayhem In qualifying.
