~FORZA FERRARI~
Atleast make it white instead of green.
Some reports on Twitter say that the upgrades are not working as they expected...
Don't shoot the messenger!
Right now, porpoising is affecting us the most. At some tracks the bouncing is less severe, at some it's more persistent. Ferrari haven't found the definitive answer to this problem like Red Bull did.
But they haven't brought any major upgrades yet, unlike the Red Bull. The car is great but Ferrari can't wait around with the base package for too long cause they're giving away free lap times.
It's early days, we know the first major updates are imola. We have confidence in the correlation, that's enabled us to progress in a way going back to the last third of 2021 season and continuing this season. There's lots to improve on with the bouncing and straight line speed but the potential is there, it's just extracting it but fundementally the car is sound.
The Ferrari F1-75 can afford to preserve its engine during free practice!
Thanks to its high correlation, Ferrari runs with a conservative engine mode on Fridays to have more power in qualifying and the race. This is the case in Melbourne.

FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Motorsport Italy reports that the new diffuser on the F1-75 was just an experiment. Charles only tested it in FP1. This new diffuser was never planned to be used in Australia. It has been tested to collect data for the first upgrade package.

FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Agree.
And having one part tested doesn't mean a lot.
In any case I read the reports with a pinch of salt
If the diffuser works though, why not use it? If it's not being used, doesn't that mean it's not working properly?
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...
As it is designed to simulate something linked to a more complete aero package expected later, it could be not so adapted with the actual floor or actual whole aero package. They said it was not designed for this track, so it's hard to understant clearly what they mean
Guys i think Pull rod suspension helps to reduce porpoising for ReDbull
I ve looked at RB cars footages a lot where other cars struggles.
Seems like it is only back end of the car porpoising. Front of the floor not going down as much as back end.
Their pull rod suspension didn't help with the porpoising when the car was launch spec. They brought a hefty upgrade package at the final day of Bahrain testing and solved the porpoising. The floor they brought with that upgrade package solved the bouncing issue, so pull rod suspension had nothing to do with it.
I want Ferrari to solve the porpoising ASAP, only because we are giving away free lap times to Red Bull. But still, the launch spec F1-75 is still good enough to beat heavily upgraded-not porpoising Red Bull car.
Hopefully the upcoming floor upgrade will solve the porpoising issue once and for all.
1. Porpoise happens at the rear of the car, nor the front
2. Experts (?) say it's purely aero related.
3. Some same it's a combination of rear suspension and floor
Let's see
Yes, we stiffen the rear suspension to limit the porposing, but the cause is aerodynamic and the good solution is also aerodynamic : to limit the action of the venturi tunnels at very high speed
