It's not how start but how you finish.
I guess those marshals are only here for Max. Can't even clear a stranded car.
30 minutes to remove a car off the track is lengthy due to an electrical current issue.
It's not how start but how you finish.
One-lap pace looked very good but unclear whether that could mean a car in the second row yet. Hungary qualifying was a major disappointment after all.
The crowd cheers when Lewis stops his car by the side of the track.
This crowd is mega-crazy.

Another Red-Flag.
Seems like they are Red Flag happy lately. The car is off the track... get back to it. WTH?
Well at least it wasn't a crash they cheered Hopefully Hammy's weekend will be a bit compromised with less running. Doubt we can pounce but never say never - remember the street circuits for example.
LOL Karun standing there in a mask surrounded by marshals without masks lol
Holy virtue signaling batman
AAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Just take it off already dude. Stop the charade.
Turn 3.....Max taking the high line.

Such a great track. Looks very rewarding for the drivers and it shows the performance these cars are capable of. Braking distances and direction changes are insane.
Quali is going to be important. Overtaking looks difficult.

I think they should stop the clock for a maximum of 10-15 minutes during red flags during practice. It's a bit stupid like this.
How many red flags will this race have? 10? 15?
This is ridiculous.
Ferrari looking good at this track.

Disrupted session somewhat. Hard to read into that but I'd be leaning towards good single lap pace and poor race pace on the softs at least anyway. Will have to bin those early.

So, are we genuine good, or....?
Don't want to get too excited but we look promising enough on the softs, less so the mediums as usual, track looks quite narrow and twisty and the risk of SC intervention possibly high, so it will be essential to get decent grid positions and quali may be a bit of a lottery with traffic. Looks as if it will be dry over the weekend, but on a circuit like this, anything could happen. Good job by Charles and Carlos this afternoon.
I'd forgotten how beautifully flowing Zandvoort is and hope our team can make the most of it this weekend!
For me, success tomorrow would be to lock out the second row on the grid. Charles in particular has beaten the Bottler fair and square on a good few occasions this year and Carlos looks to be rather close to him just missing about a tenth.
Qualifying can be tricky if someone gets a spin or a visit to the gravel, then red flag for sure. Boys need to set good time at the earliest. Given how narrow the track is, setting times could be difficult if there is traffic on the track.
