    1 lap qualifying

I actually sat down and watched the qaulifying last night. Now, cannt believe how ridiculous this slowing down to find a gap near the end of a lap looks. Makes f1 looks silly, let alone dangerous.

Maybe, go back to having 1 lap qualifying. Still keep knock format. See each driver max attack. Be for that 1 quick quali lap.

Masi instituted a MINIMUM time on the qualifying lap. In other words, cars cannot go too slow.

You have the pitbox to tell their drivers who is on a flying lap to warn those drivers that are not on a flying lap.

I voted no on the 1 lap qualifying.
It's not how start but how you finish.

    I voted no.

I think with track evolution the way it is and the tyres taking longer to find the right temperature window it would be chaos.

Something does need to be done regarding this slowing down but I think having tyres which don't need to be managed to such a degree would help.

1 lap knockout qualifying honestly could be interesting, as long as the cars are still minimum fuel, maximum power.

The 2003-2005 single lap quali with race fuel was rubbish.

Pole position should be about the fastest driver in the fastest car. Having just one lap to set the best lap adds pressure to the drivers. It would likely shake up the grid here and there. However the same old issue of what driver gets best track conditions would still be a problem, especially when a track is drying or if its raining.

The current format works, why change it?

Force drivers to do their outlaps within 10 % of their qualifying time. Problem solved. Therefore no.
