He was up there in S2, but this sky F1 didn’t show complete lap. But a good job from him too. Pole was there .

P1… fantastic job by Ferrari & Mattia Binotto. To bring back Ferrari into top fight competition.
Hopefully there is something more to come in terms of developing the car, as RB looks strong & will continue to develop at rapid pace.

We still have engine update under. That’s gonna be the key along with in season development. As budget cap is in place will not see too many major updates.

Top speed isn't everything. It's the acceleration where Ferrari PU is unmatched.

Also Red Bull may very well be running a low DF setup. I don't think they actually paid attention to Ferrari before qualifying, I think they were only focused on Mercedes. (Cause they are arrogant)

there were graphics, i think on this forum showing red bull faster in slow corners and Ferrari faster in straights after FP2.

I'd like to see the same graphics for today.

Completely different than qualifying. You got tire deg. and constant avg. lap times while the fuel is going down and cars get lighter.

We have to wait and see.

it looked slightly off in FP2 just like the qualifying pace did, so anyone's guess, but it'll be a fight.

We know Leclerc is quick in races too.

Nope ferrari accelerating fast out of slow corners than RB & Mercs.
